Young people who grew up in Virginia want to stay — but cannot find an apartment they can afford. Families who have saved for years still cannot compete in the housing market. Seniors on fixed incomes are watching their rent climb higher every year. We have a housing shortage in Virginia. And until we address it, prices will keep rising.



Memphis deserves Republican representation in Congress. Today’s Supreme Court ruling paves the way for that. I trust our legislative leaders will move quickly to make this a reality. As Governor, I will be prepared to lead on this effort.

Some more Virginia analysis - Pretty incredible that the “No” side won major cities (+1.7), other cities and suburbs (+3) and rural areas (+39) but the “yes” advantage in Northern Virginia suburbs (+37) was enough to eke out the narrow win.
