Today marks my last day of work at Staffordshire University. It has been a really exciting journey to set up the new School of Architecture. Thank you to my fantastic colleagues, the @NSSARiba for their great support, and to my wonderful students for this amazing cake! @StaffsUni

@simonbrew My dad didn’t have the opportunity to have a full education being a child of the Spanish civil war. He always said he didn’t have culture, he had agriculture. He taught me to read before school and showed me the wonder of books and learning.

Those who have lost a parent: tell me something brilliant about them. My much-missed mum was a Neil Diamond addict. For the first time since I lost her, was able to hear some of that music and have a smile on my face. Lovely memories x

If you spend a lot of time copying text from PDFs into Word like me, I hope this tip might be useful! If the PDF ends up broken up over lots of lines, there's no need to fix it manually. Just go to find and replace, type ^p into find, and one space into replace. Pics below :)
