A super day at @FlamboroughBird! The compulsory 'drab-headed bunting' was only for starters... The headland was teeming with goldcrests and thrushes, pallas's and dusky warbler (not radde's imo), brambling, and a YB warbler which apparently was a two-barred warbler. 🎉🐦👌

@LoDerwentValley I wouldn't. My personal rule is that I only tick species that are identifiable by me - whether by sight or sound. (The only exception being species that need DNA to nail the ID). I haven't yet decided whether I can retrospectively tick sound-recorded or photographed species. 🤔

A question I'm sure has been discussed many times over, but for fun: You're watching a flock of birds in flight, you know you've seen every bird in that flock, you know someone else has correctly identified a rarity in the flock and watched it take off with flock. Do you tick it?
