Colt might say that they are not stopping (or suspending) civilian AR15 manufacturing for political purposes...but that is exactly how it is being interpreted. They say that they support the 2nd Amendment but this looks like a division that isn't good for the 2nd Amendment.

Who are you to limit anyone else to less effective means to protect their home. It’s different for different people. Nobody needs an AR-15 to hunt. Nobody needs a semi-automatic rifle to defend their home. But mass shooters NEED these weapons in order to murder as many people as efficiently as possible. And so nobody will miss them when they are illegal - except for the killers.

@terror_studies @ChrisMurphyCT I hunt things like rabbits, prairie dogs and coyotes with an AR15. Many people hunt hogs with them and some will hunt antelope and even deer with them. They can be a great hunting rifle.

Let's get some things straight about the budget: spending more money doesn't make you morally superior. More dollars for unsustainable programs doesn't mean you have a bigger heart. My generation will suffer if we don't start making responsible reforms to our spending.

It’s amazing how bitter & quick-to-battle some conservatives are. Yesterday, I reported that I had spotted anti-@AOC graffiti in the Phoenix airport of all places. And rightwingers got crazed and accused me of making this up. That’s crediting me with a good sense of imagination.
