I’ll personally accept taxpayer money being used to fixed that unsightly roof, take however many hundreds of millions to fix it and replace with literally anything else, a new logo, new light works, anything. Screw it, just build a full scale rocket on it with Dunkstronaut colors

Toyota Center, home to the Houston Rockets, will be getting a $180 million upgrade “at no cost to Houston taxpayers,” Mayor John Whitmire said Wednesday. It’s very simple, we’re stuck paying Stroud north of $50 million regardless of how the QB market shakes up, so save the $30 million this season and just bolster the roster. Will is a different story, pay him literally whatever he asks for, don’t even send a counteroffer.

The Texans have exercised the 2027 fifth-year options on the contracts of QB CJ Stroud and All Pro DE Will Anderson, per source. Stroud is now due $25.904M in 2027, while Anderson is due $21.512M. Both players are also extension eligible.

Never really got the Aaron Holiday late. Sure, Reed is better, but Holiday is a perfectly serviceable backup guard, one of the better ones we’ve had in the decade I’ve been watching.

It’s not been consistent, just like everything else this season, but these last couple games have been much better to digest and watch, it doesn’t feel annoying to tune in. Also have what should be an easy series versus a Luka and AR-less Lakers team in the 1st round 👀👀👀

He was always too slim to play LB, has the body build of a nickel, but his center of gravity is much lower, so even though he has light feet, he doesn’t have the fluidity of an actual coverage man, he gets stuck in no man’s land a lot of the time, could be a good ST player though

The #Texans are trading for Patriots LB Marte Mapu via @jonmalexander. Mapu was a 2023 draft pick by the Patriots who took a 30 visit to Houston during the pre draft cycle. Mapu is a unique player who has played S/NB/LB in his career.

Or he could just do recovery mode with a Mac and restore the phone from an iCloud backup if he has it.

Something wrong with this team, tanking teams have better set plays towards the end of games, we waste 50% of the shot clock on all possessions in clutch time pivoting to make a pass, players pick up their dribble way too early, and we’re weeks away from the playoffs.
