The President could charge the C-Suite of Every Major Company with RICO violations to make them support America. Every single one has been stealing from you on their directions. But they only have to pay a fine. You and a friend do it? Lots of jail.

Something that's always bothered me about Dune (the books as well as the movies): You're rooting for the Fremen. They're the underdogs. The good guys. The Fremen are Muslim. If you doubt me, just look at their language. Their belief system. Hell, even their habitats are almost too on-the-nose. FFS, they even refer to Muad'dib as "Mahdi".

Now “Elon Musk”, you have to give me that that’s a made up name…

Jaysus this escalated. First I tweeted something dumb about a company I didn’t follow (because I mostly don’t follow individual companies — that theme will repeat soon). Thought it was just another Allbirds, wanted to make a stupid scatological joke, and wanted to post my favorite paper from the dot com bubble. My bad. Then @PalmerLuckey told me it was a “dumb” tweet. He was right, but I didn’t appreciate the phraseology, and yes, didn’t recognize him which I absolutely should have. My bad again. I have (as anyone who follows me knows) a very low tolerance for anonymous trolls and way jumped the gun based on past bad experiences. Having said that, unlike regarding @PalmerLuckey, I also yelled at a bunch of actual anonymous trolls, and this I do not take back. Though I’d like some points for providing you all with entertainment AND for not deleting the original tweets. I just think that’s a weak move. You take your lumps and you move on. I’m not above deleting a tweet occasionally, but I try not to especially when I’m wrong. So, happy to have helped the twitter-verse enjoy Friday. Have a nice weekend. And, finally, I’m seriously considering starting a bank based on the characters of Robert E. Howard.

Correct. But the difference between you and me – other than the fact that you're an anti-white leftist and I'm not – is I care more about about America than some alleged genocide of brown bodies thousands of miles away. So, unlike you, I don't spend all day crying about Israel.

You Westerners who visit China for a holiday, to study, or to work — you really think you can lecture me on what China is actually like? What a joke. Unless you’re a Chinese citizen living here as an ordinary person, your outsider perspective doesn’t count. The Chinese government is simply using you as convenient propaganda tools to sell a fake, polished image of the country. Half the Chinese population still earns only about RMB 1,000 a month — roughly AUD $200. Rural villagers’ retirement pension is just RMB 200, or around AUD $40 a month. This is the reality of “socialism with Chinese characteristics” under the Chinese Communist Party. The only people who are truly rich and powerful are Xi Jinping and his inner circle.

@CliffordAsness Dumb tweet. Toto has been fabricating advanced ceramics for semiconductor manufacturing for many years, they make more money from that than toilets. Strong technical moat in a rapidly growing industry.

A) I guess investors are just tired of the same old shit… B) Saw the exact same idiocy in the dot com bubble (great paper pictured below). Not sure if changing your name to .com or AI empowered bidets are dumber. Call it a tie.

@SenWarren Illegal immigrants are killing Americans, both literally & figuratively. Children murdered by illegals drunk driving, If the FBI stopped listing illegals as 'White', White rapes drop 90%. HALF an American's taxes go to providing shelter, food, health insurance, and loans to them

Americans have seen their insurance premiums climb up and up and up. Families can’t afford yet another jacked up cost in Trump’s economy. A new report shows just how deep the problem is – and how the insurance industry is part of the problem.

@shagbark_hick My girl was reading at a 2nd grade level when she was 3. Not screwing her up and slowing her down with school.

Look, pro-homeschooling people are piling on this guy but he's not wrong at all. I know of families who are straight-up failing to teach their children beyond a 2nd-grade education. Like 16-year-old kids who don't know what the Capital of the US is, have never heard of Toronto, and could not perform a basic algebra problem. While it's true that there are many excellent homeschooling families whose instruction far exceeds that of any public school, the fact is that the American system of "school your kids however you want" does also yield a lot of severely stunted kids who get stuck playing "catch-up" for the rest of their lives. My wife was homeschooled, we might homeschool, I'm not averse to the practice per se, but it's a fact that there's a whole world of multi-generational homeschoolers who are not and will not rise above a 2nd or 3rd grade education level by their own volition. Should the state intervene in these cases? I dunno, the answer to the question is not as "easy" as many make it out to be. The idea of barely getting through 'Mary Had a Little Lamb' at the age of 16 should be appalling, and it IS happening in some American homeschooler families.
Just Jim@JimsTweets

Do Homeschool kids just like, not have to take tests or exams or get grades? How does the government know if the child is actually getting an education and not just like, being neglected

Lots of talk about @BarackObama lately. People don't realize he added many DEI hires, but before he did that, he also made sure to hire all the qualified White males. So there was never a cause of action nor real reason for complaint. It also helped keep the country from breaking

@dilanesper Obama hired massive amounts of minorities and women who were not qualified in any way. But was able to do it because he also made sure to hire the smartest White males insuring loyalty and removing vauses of action from the only people who could stop this or file complaints.

In any event, the Right only makes themselves look like liars and dim bulbs when they engage in this. Because vast parts of the country, including even plenty of people who didn't vote for him, view Obama as a reasonable person. And this sort of criticism plays as ridiculous.

I think, in a perverse way, conservatives WANTED President Obama to be a race hustler they could demonize, hated the fact he wasn't one, and then created the President Obama they wanted out of a couple of isolated remarks rather than attacking the real one.
Dilan Esper@dilanesper

"If Obama had spoken about his race more frequently, conservatives would not rely so heavily on the singular example. His remark about Martin being Black like him has been endlessly repeated by conservatives because it was the exception rather than the rule." Exactly.

@dilanesper You are confused. What Obama did was hire completely unqualified minorities and women, but he covered it up by hiring the High IQ White men at the same time.

Hi my name is Guido Reichstadter & I'm currently occupying the top of the Frederick Douglass memorial bridge in Washington DC. I'm calling on the people of the United States to bring an immediate end to the Trump regime's illegal war on Iran and the removal of the regime power through mass nonviolent direct action and non-cooperation. I also want to urgently warn the people of the US and the world of the imminent danger we are in of crossing a point of no return towards the development of artificial intelligence which poses the risk of catastrophic harm to humanity, including human extinction. I call on the governments of the world to take immediate action to end this danger by permanently banning the development of artificial general intelligence and machine super intelligence. I also call on the people of the world to exert all possible influence through nonviolent action to compel their governments to end this danger with all possible speed.

The assessment of a long-serving military officer who served as Deputy Commander, USINDOPACOM needs to be taken seriously. In terms of missile capablities -- hypersonics, anti-ship, intermediate range, for example - the PLA is ahead of the US military. And depending on where and how a fight takes place (say, close to the Chinese mainland) the PLA would have the advantage. For many years US officialdom told itself the Chinese could never be our equals, much less surpass us. That sort of condescension got us where we are today. @ianellisjones
Dennis Wilder偉德寧@dennisw5

This kind of exaggeration is not helpful. China's military is not a peer to US power and the General knows this.
