B.C. says it deserves an annual royalty because Alberta oil crosses its territory. Approximately 900,000 import containers travel east through Alberta every year. A reciprocal formula would be simple: For every $1 per barrel B.C. charges Alberta oil, Alberta charges B,C, about $900 per container. Same principle.

After a decade of collapsing living standards, out-of-control government spending, reckless mass immigration, rising inflation and economic decline, Canadians went to the polls. They voted for more of the exact same. That is the reality Alberta conservatives need to confront. Most Canadians do not fundamentally believe Canada is broken. They do not share Alberta’s priorities, and they are not about to change direction anytime soon. Outside Alberta and Saskatchewan, Canada voted further toward the left than California did. There is currently no credible path to restoring responsible government from within Confederation. The only viable path on the table is independence, so Albertans can take back control of our government, our prosperity and our future.

The fact Atlantic premiers feel they have a say over Alberta’s energy exports Means even the smallest, weakest of provinces look down their nose at aAlberta as some sort of subservient colony to follow orders and pay thier rent Alberta doesn’t have to go down with 🇨🇦 #WEXIT

@elron6900 @Jason___YYC It's not about special treatment. It's about fairness. It's more about the dysfunction from Ottawa towards all of the western and northern parts of Canada. The system is designed to favor the east. There's a way to make changes, but it will take something drastic to force it.

@YukonEventually @Jason___YYC As an Albertan for all of my 60 years I've never seen Canada beat on Alberta. I have seen a lot of my fellow Albertans whine about not getting special treatment though.

@Jason___YYC Just yesterday I saw her saying you shouldn't start negotiating by threatening to punch them in the nose. Except apparently when negotiating with Canada.

@Jason___YYC No, it's not Canadian. If it was, the rest of Canada wouldn't be importing the majority of its fuel and other oil based products.

@xllenial Perhaps cities should not be relying on people breaking the law to create revenue.

On this Fridays episode of the “government can go fuck itself”. Including the closet globalist UCP. Alberta govt bans photo radar, cries “cash cow” like they’re the good guys — then quietly keeps their 40% cut and dumps the loss on the cities. Calgary alone got hit with a $28 MILLION shortfall because of it. So now peace officers are out here hand-writing garbage tickets to plug the hole the province itself created. Same greedy money grab, just swapped the camera for a badge. And they wonder why nobody respects law enforcement anymore — you’re not protecting shit, you’re a collections agency with a siren. Fix your own budget instead of shaking down working people for it. 🐄🖕 We the people are sick of this shit.

@LivinTheFringe @jiffylube Everything, and I mean everything, is getting priced to force having to live in their 15 minute city dystopian plans. One car shared between four households. And it is rented and monitored from the government.

After nearly 2 months in AB... 1. Much more beautiful than we expected. Wow! 2. So many cows and crops, but food is so expensive. 3. So many oil rigs, but fuel is insanely expensive. In a place of such plenty and beauty, something is very wrong.

The problem is not just Ottawa. The problem is that most Canadians keep voting for the system that is breaking the country. Alberta cannot change that. Alberta can only choose independence.

Alberta is incredibly wealthy and resource-rich, boasting more land, farmland, and higher GDP per capita than most nations. Yet, it feels stripped of its wealth by a federal government that treats it as a cash cow, not a province. #Alberta #Economy #Politics

Alberta, Remember when Preston Manning said, "The West wants in," then Jason Kenney said, "We're demanding a fair deal now for Alberta," followed by Danielle Smith, who said, "Enough of their screw the West, we'll take the rest mentality"? We do. It's finally time to do something about it. Vote Option 2 on October 19th. Authorized by The Lavigne Show TPA TheLavigneShow.com/tpa

@nenshi You are an idiot to the that she automatically gets to claim to be Queen after separation happens. She would remain interim leader for a while but does not guarantee she stays in power.

Before Danielle Smith repeatedly changed the rules to help the separatists, they would have needed roughly 600,000 signatures to force a vote. The separatists didn't even come close to that number and nearly 80,000 signatures were tossed by Elections Alberta. This is 100% Danielle Smith's separation referendum. She is the one caving to her far-right base. She is the one who is willing to tear Canada apart for her political gain. edmonton.citynews.ca/2026/07/24/ele…

Wow. I just went to a community meeting regarding the Pathways Project and carbon capture. Let me tell you people are pissed off. We are not being told the truth. Taxpayers are basically paying 75% of the cost of this project to be experimented on, as this is the largest CCS project on earth. And they aren't telling the truth about the waste or danger. Many pipeline & oilfield experts in the crowd stood up and had things to say. Scary things. The kill zones on the map are from estimates from the Mississippi pipeline rupture. Where its warm. In minus 20 the Co2 doesn't disperse the same. This could poison our water systems and/or wipe out a whole town if things go sideways. And oilfield experts said this is 'Phase One'. Meaning more to come. One lady shouted 'Daniel Smith fucked us' @ABDanielleSmith One fella said 'Independence solves this'. And the whole room looked at each other. Free Alberta. And end the eventual destruction of our people.

🇺🇸 Trump just said it plainly: “The problem isn’t Canadians. The problem is Canada’s leadership.”🇨🇦 He’s right. And so is every Canadian who’s been saying it for two years. While ordinary Canadians struggled with rent, groceries and mortgages ..their leaders were busy performing. Eby said Canada should look elsewhere. 📣 Ford talked about “dismantling” the US. 📣 Carney said all options are on the table. 📣 None of them had a plan. All of them had a microphone.🎙️ Meanwhile: 📌 USMCA unwinding 📌 2 million jobs at risk 📌 Dollar at multi-month lows 📌 China tariffing Canadian farmers 📌 Canadians lining up at food banks The tough talk cost nothing for the politicians delivering it. It cost everything for the Canadians living under it. Trump didn’t cause Canada’s leadership problem. He just named it. @MarkJCarney @fordnation @Dave_Eby
