Today, we announced that with @VisaCA, we ran the first stablecoin credit card settlement pilot in Canada. Canadians deserve a dynamic and efficient payment system. And we're proud to be at the forefront of this work.
Blair Wiley@BlairWiley

2 coming-of-age moments for stablecoins in 🇨🇦: our partner @TetraDigitalGrp launched CADD, unlocking 24/7 CAD payments, and @Wealthsimple + @VisaCA settled Canada’s first credit card payments with stables. We’re building serious, governed, sovereign infrastructure for the future.

@TheGalox_ Samsung really needs to improve its presentation strategies. I can't even find a single Galaxy Book6 series laptop at the Best Buy or Staples near me. Even last year, when they had the Galaxy Book5 on display, it was really hard to find it in the grey plastic sea.

Went to Best Buy, here's what I think of the laptops: 1: Average Windows laptops all look the same and very ugly. Galaxy Book, XPS, and Surface were the only ones on display that didn't have a gray plastic design 2: I suggest Dell and Samsung take Microsoft's approach and separate their laptops from the rest in new branded tables. For someone like me it's easy to spot them, but general consumers get lost in the sea of gray plastic 3: Companies have no clue what their quick spec sheets should say. None of the ARC B390 laptops mentioned the GPU and instead took half the tiny paper for Copilot or "solid build" marketing. Start marketing the important things and Apple might not be such a threat! 4: The Chromebook section is very depressing. Same goes for the low to midrange Windows section. 90% of the problems return to the gray plastic plague 5: Samsung could have a MUCH bigger market share if all their lineup weas available and with better presentation. Book6 Pro stood out as one of the best laptops on display but it was hidden in a corner alongside the midrange Book4 Edge 15 inch. They already have a full Samsung display for phones, they should do the same for their laptops. If the Book6 Ultra was there it would've been the only Windows laptops available to be a MacBook Pro alternative.

@mweinbach The new Bixby isn't bad, but you are right, they should bring the original Bixby and the quick commands back. It's more convenient with your own commands.

I really wish Samsung would have done what they wanted to with the Galaxy S8 and original Bixby Dedicated buttons for AI are normal-ish now, and an AI assistant that can control your apps to take actions on your behalf... They were really far ahead on this stuff, and bailed because they got poor feedback. The original Bixby could post photos on Instagram for you, it could write emails for you in Gmail, open your gallery and search photos. It would use your phone and just do it for you, like computer use agents today. Like it worked decently well, wasn't perfect, but it was essentially perfect for what we have today. It was not good at the time, but imagine if they stuck with it all using today's models and architectures.

Samsung’s current design is a nightmare for MagSafe or Qi2 accessories. Samsung will eventually have to change the camera layout sooner or later. Their magnetic cases are basically useless for anyone who wants to use a MagSafe power bank or wallet.

@o1eroy @tarunvats33 @SamsungMobile You don't use it; that doesn't mean everyone else doesn't. If that's the case, in my opinion, Google should discontinue its Messages and keyboard, just because I don't use them.

Google Messages doesn’t fit One UI. Samsung Messages matches the design language, backgrounds, fonts, the whole system feels consistent. That’s the difference: one feels integrated, the other feels imported. Even if Samsung Messages lacks some features, the answer is simple improve it, don’t replace it.

To everyone who wants a better Samsung Messages experience, please copy and paste this into the Samsung Members community 👇 We understand the direction of supporting Google Messages, especially to improve Android-to-Android communication through RCS, including better group chats, read receipts, typing indicators, higher-quality media sharing, end-to-end encryption, audio messages, and location sharing. However, could Samsung consider working more closely with Google to create an experience truly optimized for Samsung users? Combining the strengths of Google Messages with Samsung Messages’ One UI design language and unique features would deliver something more complete and consistent. That’s the experience Samsung users deserve. At the same time, we hope you understand our disappointment regarding the removal of Samsung’s own apps. Many of us chose Samsung not for the hardware, but for the complete One UI experience, including its native apps and services. While Google apps do offer additional features, they are available across all Android devices. Samsung’s apps, on the other hand, are uniquely designed to match One UI’s identity and ecosystem. Replacing them instead of improving them feels like a step away from what makes Samsung special as a premium brand. We truly hope Samsung continues to invest in and refine its own apps, as they are an important part of the experience many users value. us.community.samsung.com/t5/Samsung-Com…

Samsung has announced Samsung Messages will stop functioning soon. I honestly wish Samsung worked with Google so we could have a Samsung front end and a Google backend. That would’ve been awesome. But alas that isn’t the case. 🫡 Thank you for your service, Samsung Messages.

Sad news… and honestly a very wrong move from Samsung. Killing Samsung Messages instead of improving it and pushing everyone to Google feels like a downgrade, not progress. At this point, it genuinely makes me think about switching to Apple.
