We are rapidly losing democratic rights in Europe
Arnaud Bertrand@RnaudBertrand

French MP @RimaHas has been detained by French police for reposting this very post 👇 Not a joke. The charge is "suspicion of apology for terrorism." And just in case it wasn't clear enough that it's a character assassination play, it was also "leaked" to the press that illicit drugs were found on her at the police station, when all she actually had was CBD, a legal stress-relieving dietary supplement. Yet most major French media are now running the story that she's essentially a terror-supporting antisemitic drug addict (example here: x.com/RMCInfo/status…) That's what happens to you in today's France if you dare support Palestinians, even if you're an MP.

If D66 politicians show up again to events like the red line they should be kicked out. Our prime minister showed up to the red line to grab votes, got what he wanted and is now running the same policy as any other government before him.

A valid point is raised by @nntaleb and @asadabukhalil : Israel has been engaging in summary executions of Palestinians and others for decades, so why go through the trouble and potential scrutiny of legislating a death penalty that will be applied on a strictly ethnic basis? Expressed differently, why now? I think the answer has little to do with Israeli-Palestinian relations and is to be found primarily in domestic Israeli politics. Israeli society, encouraged by decades of impunity, has decisively shifted to the extreme right. In this context the death penalty legislation is primarily an electoral instrument. Those behind this legislation expect to reap a significant political reward for their racist legislation in this year's elections, precisely because the legislation is racist and is about killing Arabs. All indications are that their initiative will pay off. As for the potential scrutiny, after extensive discussion and debate about the executions there may at some point be an expression of concern from Brussels, which will immediately be denounced as an anti-Semitic blood libel, and for which the EU will promptly apologize.

Exactly: the notion that the occupation state never had the death penalty (with one exception) is a mere propaganda ploy. It finds it easier to kill Arabs without trial. Why bother with the death penalty law?

The Zionazi inventiveness in finding new ways to describe the next steps of the #GazaGenocide‌ is something else. Notice this is "not a radical right wing radicalism". It is merely what most Zionists think

Opinion: The only way Israel can govern the Gaza Strip without becoming an external oppressor of “another people” is to remove “the other people” from the confines of the Gaza Strip itself. jpost.com/opinion/articl…

After REAL investigative journalists in two seperate news channels (Sky AND Al Jazeera) published EVIDENCE AND TESTIMONIES for the sadistic torture of a BABY in Gaza by IDF soldiars will @nirhasson and @Haaretz publish an official apology for their lies and useless ''journalism'' that ''trust'' the IDF spokesperson? I doubt it. Please share, comment, and ask the bastards if they will publish apologies!

For liberal Zionists, settlers are less a moral problem than a strategic one—they dismantled the two-state solution fiction that once made unconditional support for Israel politically viable.
Adam Johnson@adamjohnsonCHI

@LailaAlarian @HBendaas Condemning settlers has long been the safe liberal zionist criticism. It’s one of the few genuine political splits within Israel as opposed to destroying Gaza, Lebanon and Iran which are universally popular and thus broadly supported by democrat elites stateside

It is worthy of note that the group which is claiming responsibility for the burning of ambulances last night refers to Palestine as “the land of Israel.” It does so in both English and Arabic, which is particularly unusual.

Do you see this video? This is the arrest of a Palestinian man inside Israel, in the city of Lod, on suspicion of drawing the Palestinian flag on the municipal building. And they talk about strength. A regime that fears a painted flag is a fragile one.
