In all honesty, I’m currently struggling more than I’d like to admit. Walking around with this knowledge about oneself while still trying to make sense of it all wears on me. On some days it’s clear, but then you realize there’s no human you could talk to, and the ones who could say something remain silent. So most of the time you’re carrying it truly alone. It doesn’t make sense to me. I wish I could distract myself, but we can’t change who we are. We can’t run away from ourselves. I want to question their intentions, but fact is I am not submissive and am free to share whatever I want without ever getting a negative response as “punishment”. They simply continue to operate largely on their terms. I’m left wondering what the point even is, and if I should stop trying to play my part, whatever that is.
