French President Emmanuel Macron says the war on Iran does not provide a "lasting solution to the nuclear issue," and a military operation to 'liberate' the Strait of Hormuz is 'unrealistic.'

More than 1,000 international law experts (myself included) warn that U.S. strikes on Iran violate the U.N. Charter (no evidence that Iran posed an imminent threat that could justify a self-defense claim) and may be war crimes (attacks on civilian sites). trib.al/lyTCOJB
These are not military targets; these are a school, a university, a hospital, and a bridge in Iran
The US and Israel have bombed more than 600 schools and 290 health facilities in Iran, violating international law
These abominable war crimes shouldn’t be forgotten with impunity
Eight Muslim-majority countries have "strongly condemned" Israel's new death penalty bill for Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, saying the move threatens "regional stability."
"Three Indonesian soldiers were killed in southern Lebanon in less than 48 hours. They were not fighters. They were part of a United Nations peacekeeping mission (UNIFIL). They were stationed in known positions. And still, they died.
This is not a tragic accident. It is a clear signal.
The sequence of events matters. On 29th March, a projectile struck a UN position near Adchit al-Qusayr, killing one Indonesian peacekeeper and critically injuring another. Hours later, a second incident—an explosion that destroyed a UN vehicle near Bani Hayyan—killed two more.
Three dead. In uniform. Under a UN flag.
The Israeli military says it is “reviewing” what happened and emphasises that these deaths occurred in an “active combat zone.” But that explanation is not convincing. UNIFIL positions are fixed, mapped, and communicated to all parties. Peacekeepers are not hidden actors. They are the most visible neutral presence in any conflict zone.
If they are being hit, it is not because they cannot be seen. It is because they are being disregarded.
That distinction matters. Because it speaks directly to intent.
Since early March, Israel has expanded its military campaign in Lebanon, pushing deeper into the south and openly pursuing a buffer zone up to the Litani River. This is not a limited operation. It is a widening one. It has already killed more than 1,200 people in Lebanon and displaced many more.
Peacekeepers are now operating inside a battlefield that is expanding by design.
And this is the point: states that are preparing for peace do not expand war zones. They do not normalize strikes in areas populated by international forces. They do not repeatedly hit locations that are clearly marked as neutral.
Israel’s conduct in Lebanon is not consistent with a state seeking de-escalation. It is consistent with one prioritizing military objectives over diplomatic constraints."

The IRGC announced that 37 US officers were killed in a strike targeting a gathering of US officers in the #UAE, as part of wave 88 of Operation True Promise 4 launched on March 31.
According to the statement, the operation began with a ballistic missile attack on an Israeli-linked container ship, Haiphong Express, in the central #Gulf, resulting in a direct hit.
In a second, coordinated phase, Iranian naval units targeted #US Marines positioned along the United Arab Emirates' coast, who were operating outside formal bases and attempting to conceal their presence within civilian areas.
The statement further added that the targeted location, near Al-Minhad Air Base in #Dubai, housed around 200 American troops, including commanders, and was identified through intelligence before being struck by drones and tactical missiles.

Israel is now starving ONE MILLION PEOPLE in Gaza while spraying ONE MILLION PEOPLE in Lebanon with banned phosphorus and relentlessly bombing MILLIONS of PEOPLE in Iran violating international law with absolutely no consequences
This's what real threat to world peace looks like
The US-Israeli unlawful bombing targeted over 600 Iranian educational facilities, revealing that the war's objectives are far from disarming Iran from a 'nuclear bomb'.
I don't think people understand the gravity of the situation as the UN is preparing for possible nuclear weapon use in Iran.
This is a picture of Tehran. For you uneducated, untraveled, never-served, warhawks licking your chops at the thought of bombing it. It's not some low population desert. There are families, children, family pets. Regular working class people with dreams. You're sick to want war.
Tehran is a city of nearly 10,000,000 people. Imagine nuking Washington, Berlin, Paris, London, or beyond, bombed with nuclear weapons.
I gave up my diplomatic career to leak this information. I suspended my duties so as not to be part of or a witness to this crime against humanity, in an attempt to prevent a nuclear winter before it is too late.
Yesterday, nearly ten million people protested “No Kings” in the United States. The possibility of the use of nuclear weapons must be taken very seriously. It's dangerous. Act now. Spread this message worldwide. Take the streets. Protest for our humanity and future. Only the people can stop it. History will remember us.
Before the war:
1) Iran didn't control the Strait Of Hormuz, now it does
2) Iran oil was sanctioned, now it's not
3) Iran was not building a nuke, now it will
4) US bases in the Gulf were assets, now liabilities
5) Inflation was declining, now increasing
Definitely winning!
I strongly condemn Sunday’s incident during which an Indonesian peacekeeper of @UNIFIL_ was killed amidst hostilities between Israel & Hizbullah. Another Indonesian peacekeeper was seriously injured in the same incident.
My deepest condolences to the family, friends & colleagues of the peacekeeper who died & to Indonesia. I wish a full & fast recovery to the injured peacekeeper.
This is just one of a number of recent incidents that have jeopardized the safety & security of peacekeepers.
I call on all to uphold their obligations under international law & to ensure the safety & security of @UN personnel & property at all times.
We warned the world that Gaza is the testing ground for a lawless new world order.
What Israel is currently doing in southern Lebanon is clearly aimed at ethnic cleansing and colonization, using the same war crime tactics used in the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
Displaced over a million people. Wiping out entire villages. Control of the sea entrances in southern Lebanon. Separating the South from rest of Lebanon by bombing bridges and roads. Civilians can't flee. Ambulances cannot reach the wounded or the hospitals on the other side. Laying siege cruelly cut off all fuel from entering, with threats to bomb aid trucks and medical vehicles heading south. Power is out in hospitals and homes. Food is rotting. Water pumps stopped working. Entire communities are cut off from essential supplies.
Food, water, and medical supplies currently available in the south are sufficient for at least a month, after which we will see another Gaza in Lebanon.
They are literally repeating it all on Lebanon, with flagrant violations of international law and the international community remains silent.
After much reflection, and after it became clear to me that some UN seniors are serving a powerful lobby and not the UN, I have decided to suspend all my duties as PVA Main Representative at the UN and from all UN committees/groups of which I am a member.
I cannot in good conscience be part of or witness to what is happening at a time when the UN is preparing for possible nuclear weapon use.
It has been an honor cooperating with the UN for nearly 12 years under different Secretaries-General and Human Rights Council Presidents, leading PVA delegation.
May God bless this world.
