If a man needs to pay child support, he should be entitled to a paternity test. I've yet to hear an argument against this that doesn't come down to "But I want to take advantage of men."

@TurboJaxx @warriormortal @Hitchslap1 Seems you're not caught up on the progress of genetic testing. Sequencing costs have been dropping faster than TVs, and economies of scale will turn this into a simple ~$25 fee that accompanies every perinatal screening

Making it mandatory saddles the US taxpayer with an extra 360 million per year, if you're actually from the US - you know we don't like that.

My wife was pregnant when we started dating decades ago, I knew she was pregnant when we started dating. I signed the birth certificate. A DNA test can't tell me anything I don't already know.
