This is a government-mandated decision that EL AL is required to follow. That means roughly half of passengers booked on El Al US flights are expected to receive cancellation notices. Affected passengers can choose a refund or voucher. El Al is also pausing new bookings to the US for now. At this stage, flights from the US to Israel are not expected to change.
