@NopeSignal Not really since they did end up getting the western game, even Super Mario All Stars in Japan has it so there should’ve been no confusion.

@mariotwtconfess Miyamoto’s original intention was that DK didn’t kidnap Pauline because he’s into her, but merely as a prank on Mario. In that respect, all that Bananza changes from the original story is that Pauline might also be in on the joke

I don’t want Peter B. Parker to get divorced - the first Spiderverse film did that and it just made Peter seem sad and pathetic and old and nobody really liked that. But I wish they would find some way to undo the marriage to Mary Jane that keeps Peter’s cool young relatable aura

Seeing those pics from the new Spiderverse movie reminds me of my biggest issue with how these films handle Peter Parker: I just find it wayyy too hard to relate to and get invested in a version of Peter that’s married with kids to MJ. Imo Peter should always be young and scrappy
