It’s actually really fucking gross what’s happening here. Bed-Stuy borders Williamsburg and Crown Heights, which are Jewish (primarily Hasidic) neighborhoods. I did a bit of research, and there’s plenty of articles from Jewish magazines and newspapers talking about ‘Jewish Life returning to Bed-Stuy’, aka Jews stealing property from black residents. This Jew judge is literally holding this poor woman in jail long enough for the eviction to officially happen.
