It’s 1am and I can’t sleep because I’m missing my family,especially Mom. And what hurts more,is not being able to tell them bcoz I don’t want them to be sad. I haven’t seen them for 10years now and don’t know how long it will take more. Only @AlboMP @andrewjgiles Knows WHEN!!

@ZazaiWalid has been held captive by Aus gov for almost ten years. He is in Port Moresby and is one of 100 refugees who are not included in NZ agreement. Compeletly forgotten. Aus is legally and morally responsible for them + must end this ongoing tragedy

The incredible @WilkieMP re - introducing his bill in Parliament to end the arbitrary and indefinite detention of people seeking asylum and refugees. The @ASRC1 is calling on all members of parliament to support this bill. We have 100s of people detained for up to 10 years now.

A reminder that there are over 200 refugees still languishing in PNG and Nauru. I met Walid when I went to Manus Island in 2017. He’s still in PNG. He came seeking asylum at 20, he will be 30 in February. Safe and permanent resettlement is what they all need. #ausvotes #auspol
