I was saved 10 years ago and could barely stop reading my Bible to even sleep because I was so in love with what I was reading.. the only thing on my mind every waking minute and even in my dreams was JESUS JESUS JESUS! You’re right. Catholics are attacked because we have the truth. I came into the Catholic Church last Easter, and I see it so clearly. I used to be a non-denominational Christian before converting. I know the things that are said about Catholics behind closed doors and even from pulpits. I didn’t convert into something trendy or comfortable. I knew after converting the attacks would come. But, it was worth it. I came home to the truth. The church Jesus established. The Eucharist, not a symbol but Jesus Christ Himself. Two thousand years of truth that hasn’t changed to please the world. The Pope, the successor of Peter. The Magisterium, guarding the faith without compromise. The saints and martyr’s, who have gone before boldly proclaiming the gospel even unto death. The Blessed Virgin Mary, our Mother, who leads us to her Son and has never abandoned His Church. And people hate that. They hate what I found. They hate that I won’t bend it, soften it, or turn it into something it’s not. They hate that I defend it. I will continue to stand for Christ and his Church. No matter the cost.
