@TiroTypeworks @akufadhl @saadatm @OmarTypeFoundry this style called “Delhi/Dehlvi Naskh” the other name for this is "indo-pak Naskh" Mughali naskh was old style and it looks like between the "uthmanic Naskh" and "Dehlvi Naskh"

Maybe I'm extremely late to noticed this, but did you know that the stem-vowel of the imperfect verb of the verbs for the vowels, have the vowels they designate? fatḥah: yaft*a*ḥu kasrah: yaks*i*ru ḍammah: yaḍ*u*mmu I wonder if that was intentional.

@ZeeshanNasar I’m waiting for them to switch to HarfBuzz like they did with Photoshop and Illustrator already. My understanding is that Adobe is phasing out all of its OpenType implementations (they have/had more than one) and is consolidating everything on HarfBuzz.

@KhaledGhetas I am unable to understand why InDesign engine is buggy, can you report to adobe team so that it could be fixed.

@ZeeshanNasar It works in most applications except InDesign, I’m afraid. It works in Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as web browsers, LibreOffice, etc. InDesign OpenType layout engine is buggy and unreliable.
