@Equaliberal i think teachers occupy a position similar to prison guards. they facilitate the imprisonment of people (children) and thus the hegemony of the state. obviously, if you think prison guards are working class, this analogy will come apart.

Because Josephus was Jewish, not Roman, although he ultimately switched sides to the Romans after having fought against them during the Zealot uprising. He essentially proved his worth providing historical texts on Jewish history
