@DoctorDisaster1 What a weird trend to try and find at least one thing "wrong" with games nowadays when 99% of the game offers completely different gameplay. Segment clipping this game has been funny though. People are trying so hard.

Call me old fashioned if you must, but I prefer my video games to have gameplay. If I wanted to watch a movie, then that's what I would do.

@Hikaru_Chansey @DoctorDisaster1 You're wrong. You're missing out on a great FF game in terms of combat. The side quests are the weakest part of the game. But you will find yourself constantly experimenting with the combat. Whoever told you that literally stole an experience from you.

@DoctorDisaster1 That's why I haven't played Final Fantasy 16. I've heard it's basically a movie with quicktime events. I hope I'm wrong, I'd love to play it. It's the only FF I've never played.
Only game I ever enjoyed watching cutscenes of was The Witcher III.

At this rate, Nihon Falcom is the only Japanese studio that still understands how to make consistently solid JRPGs. Reliable releases, strong worldbuilding, great soundtracks, and gameplay that actually respects the genre.

People, listen. Stop listening to crazy weirdos on social media. Marathon is the best shooter in years and y’all sleeping on it because some angry transvestite told you to? Think for yourself. Try it for free and invest into the systems. There is a huge learning curve but it’s so god damn rewarding once you’re on the path.
Stop letting Reddit weirdos tell you what you are and aren’t allowed to play. They say mixtape is a 10/10, but marathon must be destroyed. They hate us. Don’t let them win!

Okay so Marathon haters...
We've gone from dead on arrival
to dead in 2 weeks
to dead in a month
then dead in 3 months
now 6 month
and here we have committing to at least a season 3 and 4, meaning a full year for a $40 game which is exactly what I said I would be happy with.
What's next? Dead in 2 years?
