Reminds me of the parable of the Scorpion and the Frog:
A scorpion wants to cross a river but can't swim. It sees a frog on the bank and asks, "Will you carry me across on your back?"
The frog replies, "No way! You'll sting me and I'll die."
The scorpion reasons, "If I sting you while we're in the river, we'll both drown. That would be stupid. I promise I won't sting you."The frog thinks it over and agrees.
Halfway across the river, the scorpion stings the frog anyway.
As the frog is dying and sinking, it gasps, "Why? You promised! Now we'll both die!"
The scorpion replies, "I couldn't help it. It's in my nature."
The lesson? Don't bet your life, the life of those who you love, or the country that you love on the rationality or kindness of those whose nature is destructive. Empathy with such really is suicidal.

We told you that if you tolerate euthanasia even for the terminally ill, even for the "extreme cases," very soon it will be used to put down anyone the state deems inconvenient or burdensome. And that is exactly what has happened, just as we said it would.

For far too long we have tolerated the things that we should have never tolerated in the first place.
Taking our country back means that we will have to become intolerant. In order to preserve our history and our culture, then we will have to become intolerant.
Decency, Education, Respect, Integrity, and Humanity are all characteristics of what a good society is based upon. I see very little of it in today's society. We have to change that. We've gotten way off track and it shows.

I thought the point of the women’s movement was for women to have choice. Sandberg and Co. don’t want women to have freedom. Every time I see this story, I’m reminded of Simone de Beauvoir and her statement: “No woman should be authorized to stay at home to raise her children. Women should not have that choice, because if there is such a choice, too many women will make that one.”
These women are the real misogynists.

Masculine and feminine are two overlapping bell curves. The Right is guilty of forcing everyone into "normal" stereotypes, while the Left is guilty of collapsing two curves into one. A wiser path honors the difference between the curves, while making full room for outliers.
