@Ghostlight_15 @BishopJaxi You only judge from an outside perspective believing we are literally worshipping and object. When I see Jesus on the cross in church, I don't literally believe it's him, but to use it as a reminder of that day he sacrificed his life for us. Same for Mother Mary.

@Ghostlight_15 @BishopJaxi Time and time again, we are looked on as worshipping an object. It's just material used to remind us of the subject, like a photo. Yes, the line is thin between the two and the only way to determine which is knowing how they person is praying through their heart.

@auntiesam_2 @SecretFire79 You do not know what goes on within someone's head when they are praying in front of a statue of Mary. You do not know if they are worshipping the statue or using it as a symbol reminder. You only assume based on your own perceived opinions. That's why you use "looking".

A Gentle Clarification About Mary for Our Non-Catholic Friends🇻🇦 We often hear questions or concerns from friends of other Christian traditions about what Catholics believe regarding the Blessed Virgin Mary. There are some common misconceptions, so we wanted to share a few points with love and clarity: ✅We do NOT worship Mary. Worship (adoration) belongs to God alone, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. What we give Mary is veneration, deep honor and respect because she is the Mother of our Lord Jesus Christ. It's like honoring a queen mother in the Bible, not replacing or equaling God. ✅ Mary is not a replacement for Jesus. Jesus is our only Savior and the one Mediator between God and humanity. Mary's role flows entirely from Him. When we ask her to "pray for us," it's the same as asking a holy friend or pastor on earth to pray for us. The saints in heaven are alive in Christ and can intercede (see Revelation 5:8, James 5:16). At the wedding at Cana, Mary simply brought a need to Jesus and He responded! ✅ "Mother of God" doesn't mean Mary created God. It means she gave birth to Jesus, who is fully God and fully man. Calling her the Mother of God simply affirms that Jesus is divine (a truth defended since the early Church at the Council of Ephesus in 431 AD). ✅ We believe Mary was preserved from sin (Immaculate Conception) and taken body and soul into heaven (Assumption) not because she didn't need a Savior, but precisely because of the merits of her Son. She was saved in a unique, preventive way, like being pulled out of a pit before falling in. Her "yes" to God (Luke 1:38) made her the perfect vessel for the Incarnation. ✅ All generations will call her blessed. These aren't just Catholic ideas, they're rooted in Scripture: - "Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you" (Luke 1:28) - "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb" (Luke 1:42) - "All generations will call me blessed" (Luke 1:48) - Jesus giving her as mother to the beloved disciple (and to us) from the Cross (John 19:26-27) Mary always points us back to her Son. She is our spiritual mother, given to us by Jesus Himself. Honoring her brings us closer to Him, never further away. @itsmorganariel I felt that spiritual shift happening about 2 years ago. It's what called me to drop being an atheist and joining the Catholic Church. I feel better times are ahead, we just have to keep pushing through.

I miss life pre-Covid. The soul was sucked out of humanity in 2020 and it hasn’t returned since.
