I was principal at an elementary school. A young boy would be bouncing off the walls and defiant in his female teacher's classroom and she would call me in to calm him down.
I would deal sternly with the boy, he would get scared and cry, but the next day at recess, he would run up and hug my leg.
When a benevolent alpha asserts dominance, it lifts the burden of anxiety from a child and makes him feel secure. On some level, the kid would understand that if I protected others from his misbehavior, I would also protect him as well.
The feeling of security would be manifested in affection.
We were a school that was simultaneously no nonsense and disciplinarian, but also nurturing and affectionate.
Two sides of the same coin.
Can you trust the man you call your friend to defend you or take the ass-whooping with you?
Can you trust him to not spend the money you entrusted him with?
Can you trust him to not sleep with your women?

Mine was my Steel Construction company.
Your rodeo may very well be different, but it’s just the same.

Lustful men will never be satisfied and that sounds miserable. Imagine having someone who loves you unconditionally, respects you and is ultimately perfect and you still can’t be satisfied. You will always rot. You will always lose. That will forever be your downfall.
The most romantic thing to say is "I choose you" in a world of endless options.
Das romantischste, das man sagen kann, ist "Ich habe mich dich ausgesucht" in einer Welt unendlicher Möglichkeiten.
