I have been working out for one year now. I wish I had a comparable before and after photo. I started with body weight exercises because they are hard to find excuses to avoid. I bought some aerobic steps and a pull up bar, but those were optional. No expensive gym memberships. After 3 months I wanted more so I joined Planet Fitness and switched to dumbbells. I haven't missed any weeks, and now I have the urge to go exercise every workout day. It has become a habit, and if I don't do it, I feel off. This makes it easy to maintain. How have I changed over the year? It is hard to say, but it isn't just a single change. Primarily, my confidence is up. I am excited to see the changes over time to my body and my ability to keep up with my kids had improved. I used the skiing example the other day, but it is everything day to day is easier. I used Arnold's, The Pump App for the year and it gave both body weight and gym equipment options. I was happy with it and it worked well to get me started. I dropped it and went with my own routines after about a year, as The Pump focuses on high rep count vs what I want, which is low rep count closer to failure. I wouldn't change how I did things. Walking the path is the goal, not the endpoint. I am only down 22 lbs over the year, but it feels like far more than that. Muscle is up, body fat % is down. What is my next step? Going to other gym equipment to better work specific muscles and just keep pumping. My current goal is to reach the "healthy" BMI.

@wholemars And when Elon dilutes shares, you point those out to be sure investors know?

When I started covering Tesla, there was a massive smear campaign underway against the company. You wouldn’t believe how much negativity they flung out everyday, trying to see what would stick. When I called them out, they started attacking and smearing me too. They called the cops on me, made false child pornography allegations, and tried to blackmail me into staying silent. None of that was able to stop Tesla from becoming a multi trillion dollar company. The same goes for Rivian. They will either succeed or they will fail. People talking about how things are going doesn’t change the outcome. Don’t shoot the messenger. I know it’s unpopular, but if I help one investor understand the company or the AEV market a little better then i’m happy.

@wholemars You are taking about Rivian exactly the way you disliked people talking about Tesla. "Und wenn du lange in einen Abgrund blickst, blickt der Abgrund auch in dich hinein." -Neitzsche

@Mlu__N2 I would cook the beef, pull it off keeping fat, cook onions in the beef fat adding ghee if necessary, add the beef back in later.

I will never understand the rationalization of cooking the ground beef BEFORE the onions. Onions first!!

@Mr_PeterM Just a car. Try driving one, especially if you have home charging available. I wouldn't recommend an EV if you don't. I think they did a great job with this, and thankfully no beaver teeth.

No DNA, just BMW. I love it, except that it’s an electric car

@grok please clarify these are older crashes prior V14.X and that the possible safety updates e.g. warnings etc. have already been addressed via OTA. This is NHTSA wrapping and ensuring issues closed and resolved prior to moves for increases self driving technology! Not an Actual FSD recall! If requirements to fleet wide improve again it will be via OTA

Road trip ended. Trip in @LucidMotors Gravity cost me $151.86 for 1100 mile trip. All charging was exclusively on @Tesla Superchargers. Every session was flawless & ridiculously fast. Gravity charges like a beast!

@bob161610 @AndyZeGerman For FSD yours better be too. Where perfect is defined a march of 9s to be much safer then humans. No, it really isn't there yet, misleading info from Elon. If you look at accident reports from CA they are still much higher. Like 1 incident every 57k vs 500k for average driver.

@bob161610 @AndyZeGerman You understand that outliers are a problem when you have millions of vehicles? It just shows we aren't there yet. Why Elon says Cybercab production will be slow initially, as they need a test fleet of these to train and gather data with in a geofenced area. Not unlike waymo.
