с одной стороны, я терпеть не могу эксплуатацию grievances и в целом ксенофобию.
с другой стороны, открываешь новости, или соцсети, или просто в интернет смотришь — люди третий год соревнуются в ненависти к израилю и евреям, на уровне «детей геноцидите, твари».
вступать в разумную дискуссию с «нет, ты сначала покайся во всех военных преступлениях, которые изобретает аль-джазира и ее европейское политическое крыло bbc», а потом оправдывайся за бомбардировки белым фосфором, придуманные радикальным антисемитским движением amnesty international — увлекательно, но бессмысленно.
russia today значит вы благополучно считаете пропагандистами, а аль джазиру вы за чистую монету принимаете, УДОБНО.
а давайте европейцы и американцы будут каяться за каждую антисемитскую выходку? за каждое разбитое окно в канадском бейгл-шопе?

Музей Израиля выставил на обозрение Великий Свиток Исайи - длиной более семи метров, написанный на древнем иврите примерно за 125 лет до н.э.
Невероятно осознавать, что более двух тысяч лет назад какой-то человек или группа людей водили рукой по этому пергаменту, переписывая знаменитые строчки из Танаха:
- «И перекуют мечи свои на орала, и копья свои — на серпы; и не поднимет народ на народ меча, и не будут более учиться воевать»;
или
- «Глас вопиющего в пустыне: приготовьте путь Господу».
или:
- «Народ, ходящий во тьме, увидит свет великий».
или:
- «Свят, свят, свят Господь Саваоф; вся земля полна славы Его».
или знаменитое:
- «И будет волк жить вместе с ягнёнком».
Почти все написанное пророком Исайей невероятно современно: «Горе тем, которые зло называют добром, и добро — злом». Эту фразу можно без изменений вставлять в любой политический комментарий. В любой стране, в любую эпоху.
Короче, перед вами редкий случай, когда можно увидеть не просто древний текст, а один из важнейших культурных источников нашей цивилизации. Не каждый день можно увидеть текст, который старше христианства, старше Талмуда, старше большинства привычных нам форм иудаизма — и при этом звучит так, будто написан сегодня утром.
Выставка «Голос из Пустыни: Великий Свиток Исайи» проходит в Музее Израиля до 15 сентября 2026 года. Посещение — по сеансам, время нужно резервировать заранее.

Сегодня на работе одна на меня разоралась. Я сказала, что в таком тоне разговаривать не собираюсь. А когда не подействовало, развернулась и ушла.
Теперь сижу в сомнениях - устраивать кипиш или забить. С одной стороны, спускать не хочется. С другой, лениво.

Приводить это как аргумент помощи от Израиля Украине просто смешно, особенно на фоне запрета на продажу и передачу израильского оружия из третьих стран

This is a welcome development that the “PANORMITIS” vessel, which is illegally transporting grain from Ukraine’s temporarily occupied territories, will not be unloading in Israel.
This demonstrates that Ukraine’s legal and diplomatic actions have been effective.
This is also a clear signal to all other vessels, captains, operators, insurers, and governments: do not buy stolen Ukrainian grain. Do not become part of this crime.
We continue to track this particular vessel and warn everyone against any operations with it.

If the claim is that buying grain from occupied Ukrainian territory funds Russia’s war, then the standard has to apply by scale, not spotlight.
Context:
Israel: ~2.15M tons of wheat imports/year. Russia supplies up to ~90% (≈1.6M tons in 2024/25). Recent shipments triggered public condemnation and sanctions talk.
Egypt: ~13–20M tons annually. One of the largest global buyers of Russian wheat, often worth $2B+ yearly, with far less public escalation.
Turkey: ~7–10M+ tons annually, also a major hub and redistributor of Russian grain flows.
Russia exports ~45–55M tons of wheat annually, with Ukraine alleging part originates from occupied territories.
If the principle is universal, enforcement should look universal. Otherwise it reads like selective megaphone diplomacy rather than consistent policy.

In any normal country, purchasing stolen goods is an act that entails legal liability. This applies, in particular, to grain stolen by Russia. Another vessel carrying such grain has arrived at a port in Israel and is preparing to unload. This is not – and cannot be – legitimate business. The Israeli authorities cannot be unaware of which ships are arriving at the country’s ports and what cargo they are carrying. Russia is systematically seizing grain on temporarily occupied Ukrainian land and organizing its export through individuals linked to the occupiers. Such schemes violate the laws of the State of Israel itself. Ukraine has taken all necessary steps through diplomatic channels to prevent such incidents. However, we see that yet another such vessel has not been stopped. I have instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to inform all partners of our state about the situation. Based on information from our intelligence services, Ukraine is preparing a relevant sanctions package that will cover both those directly transporting this grain and the individuals and legal entities attempting to profit from this criminal scheme. We will also coordinate with European partners to ensure that the relevant individuals are included in European sanctions regimes. Ukraine counts on partnership and mutual respect with every state. We are genuinely working to enhance security, particularly in the Middle East region. We expect that the Israeli authorities will respect Ukraine and refrain from actions that undermine our bilateral relations.

I think Israel could have handled the Ukraine situation better. If it is true that Israel is buying grain from Russia’s occupied areas of Ukraine, Israel should have simply responded: thank you for flagging this, we are looking into it and it will be addressed.
Even if Ukraine raised it through Twitter and not in the best way, and even if Ukraine does not publicly call out other countries like Egypt for buying sanctioned Russian grain, Israel could have been the grown up in the room and said: no worries, we got it, we are on it.
