Minister of Finance Prof. Ncube signed the Letters of Exchange for the China-aid Irrigation Project in Zimbabwe on Dec 18. 🤝 @ZimTreasury @MoLAFWRD_Zim @MoFA_ZW 🌾 The project will rehabilitate 9 irrigation facilities across 6 provinces, boosting productivity for smallholder farmers and strengthening climate resilience. 📅 In 2025, China’s assistance projects continue to bring tangible benefits to Zimbabwe: 💧 300 new boreholes improving rural access to clean water 🌾 Three batches of food aid totaling 10,000 tons of wheat and rice enhancing food security 🌱 The Juncao Technical Assistance Project supporting rural poverty alleviation 👁️ The “Bright Journey” programme providing free cataract surgeries for over 600 patients 💻 The High-Performance Computing Centre boosting 🇿🇼scientific and technological capacity 🎉 This year, as we celebrate the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, we are proud to work together to build an All-Weather 🇨🇳🇿🇼 China-Zimbabwe Community with a Shared Future. #ChinaZim45Years
