He only accepts Christ's righteousness.

There is not a single passage or verse in the NT that says we are imputed with Christ's righteousness. The whole idea was invented by Martin Luther, it didn't exist at any time in the history of Christianity prior to Luther. He modeled it on the medieval Roman Catholic doctrine of the possibility of having the supererogatory merit of the Saints imputed to you.

@9th_Crusade @5solas And this is our main disagreement. Jesus is the only mediator between us and God (1 Tim 2:5) he is the only one to intercede for us (Heb 7:24-25) + more. Mary is dead (respectfully) and cannot intercede for us (Isaiah 8:19, Deut 18:10-12)

We don’t pray TO her. We ask for her intercession. The same way you would ask a friend to pray for you. And we do see examples of Mary’s intercession in the Bible at the wedding of Cana. Now I’m glad to hear YOU view Mary as such. And truthfully saying all Protestants is obviously a generalization but a lot of not most don’t view her like that. I even had someone tell me she’s not the mother of God she’s just the mother of Jesus.
