@ZontarAlt @AyeAyeAsk @DrewPavlou Yeah I agree, the Maritimes are worse. Also, why are you using 2011 as an example when the NDP won a supermajority of seats in Quebec?

It's so funny that the "indigenous" tribes of BC get painted as these stark "conservationists" caring about the "environment" and the first thing they do when they get handed prime real estate land in one of the most important expensive cities in the world is to build condos
Jim McMurtry@JimMcMurtry01

The wealthy 1500-member Musqueam tribe, which claims all of Vancouver, is building 11 towers (some 56 stories) on an 11.7-acre waterfront site. This density breaks all the rules, but when you’re a court-supported racial oligarchy, you can do anything.

@2L0STln3I3 @AyeAyeAsk @DrewPavlou Yeah I get the Maritimes legitimately do not exist to you people and you kids are too your to remember 2011 given it would shatter your worldview to learn what happened before you where 12, that's half the problem.

@ZontarAlt @AyeAyeAsk @DrewPavlou Poilievre won a majority in RoC last election, Quebec is the reason why Carney won. You guys are also the most anti-resource development/pipeline province. And Bloc QC has been helping the Liberals pass all of their terrible pro-crime/anti-free speech bills for the past decade

@Anarseldain The rate is 28 in a million for one dose and 10 in a million for two doses, when I was a kid 50 people per million getting a fatal reaction to a vaccine was deemed acceptable.

@BlackSliverhive When you actually look at the numbers it's a lower rate then vaccines had fatal reactions 30 years ago, it's genuinely just fear mongering propaganda.

Unlike nuclear which produces a small, highly contained waste stream that is tracked and stored safely for the long term, wind turbines create massive composite blades that currently have no widely adopted recycling solution. Most end up in landfills, taking up space for decades and while other parts like steel and copper can be recycled, the sheer volume of materials needed for turbines (especially for large wind farms) creates a significant environmental burden. Wind turbines can also pose a threat to wildlife like birds and bats that sometimes will collide with the spinning blades, leading to injury or death. Nuclear waste is challenging but concentrated and engineered to be isolated, whereas wind turbine disposal is diffuse, growing and largely unsolved. Also, smoke does NOT come from a cooling tower like that. Good morning, you’re already the radiophobe of the day, congrats.☢️

@MoshiMoshiMoan The reason unlimited texting for free became a thing is because BlackBerry basically hacked Verisons network to bypass them.

Do you all remember when cell phone companies first existed and they charged ridiculuous data plans claiming your text messages were clogging up the tubes? Total nonsense, this is the same argument for tweets rather than texts. Is this X or fucking Verizon?

There is no concept of throttling. Our algorithm is completely open-sourced. We are the only social media company on Earth that has done that. What you’re referring to is the “author diversity rule”: If you spam the timeline, we can’t show all 118 posts to all your followers—because the app would be entirely one user.

@ZontarAlt Ummmm. Tell me how many US conscripts got kidnapped and shoved in to vans to go to war. Main difference US conscripts proudly went to fight. Not like Ukraine

@WW3finalboss Zalensky is enlisting women and kidnapping men. That doesn’t signal a victory

@AyeAyeAsk @DrewPavlou Why's it always Quebec that you people hyperfixate on when we consistently vote for less immigration, get the least transfers per capita and are the only Habe No actively trying to return to Have status? It makes no sense.
