This government is focused on the cost of living. At @educationgovuk, we're saving families cash: £450 on free breakfast clubs £50 on school uniforms £500 on free school meals £300 on school holiday clubs Now it's confirmed we've halved childcare costs, saving parents £8,000.

If fuel companies try to rip off customers, my government will step in. @RachelReevesMP and @Ed_Miliband are bringing the bosses of the fuel companies in today, to make sure that customers aren’t losing out because of the conflict in the Middle East.

@LBC @AgnesChambre There’s only one reason to normalise depravity. Children go to school & hardly learn proper lessons, whilst being asked about their gender. There’s a direct correlation for this. Victims don’t forget. The abuser feels guilt. It’s the most vile crime to commit, it’s indefensible.

In London with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Sir @Keir_Starmer. The future must be built on stronger links that benefit all our people. Now is the time to shape a partnership that reflects the world as it is, not as it once was 🇪🇺🇬🇧

@UKLabour You put them up! Is this the way you operate? Reduce the cost as we head towards spring, put them back up as we head towards winter! This is purely being done as a voting gimmick.

@Keir_Starmer Why did you make sure it was the first thing you increased before your first winter in office? This, at the same time you took away the winter allowance for pensioners? There was no need to take away the cap. Something to do with China’s industrially produced green products? 😉

I promised to bring bills down and I meant it. And today, because of the decisions this Labour government has made, the energy price cap has lowered by £117.

@Patrici89225734 Like breaking the law and bribing councillors to stop local elections? Like decimating the economy? Like deconstructing freedoms? 18 months of making things worse, not better.

Thank goodness we now have a decent Government who are turning things around! It's taken 18 months and not without it's up's and downs, but Keir Starmer and Rachel Reeves and the Labour Party are making a difference!

@Newsdog007 @KiszelyPhilip If you were to think about this meme… Imagine thinking about it just a little bit more… If killing anyone is a good thing? If disliking someone doesn’t quantify as the exactly the same? Thinking doesn’t have to be difficult, but apparently it is.

@KiszelyPhilip The left have still not recognised that they have become exactly what they hate. They really need to look at the person they see looking back at them in the mirror. Many will see something they won’t recognise.

@Keir_Starmer @vonderleyen Puppet. You are pathetic. The amount of negative energy you attract will harm you in the long run. Your body and soul will regret everything you are doing to yourself. Being shortsighted and hungry for power is not a good trait. Karma will hit you hard.

@Moviesontheway @campbellclaret Do you think that party’s being involved in Government is a good idea? Running a country should be a privilege and a big responsibility. Maybe we should have appointed people with experience, knowledge and common sense employed to do the job and regarded as a job.

Looks like Reform have made a very big mistake, so big that if they were to win the by-election the result might subsequently be overturned in an election court. And there are very serious repercussions for the candidate and election agent if that were to happen.
Farrukh@implausibleblog

BBC News, "Greater Manchester Police are investigating a report that Reform UK broke electoral law in the Gorton & Denton by-election" "It's been reported that the party sent a letter to voters that didn't include an imprint identifying the promoter of the material"

@richardosefton Some think that the austerity measures 15+ years back were mean spirited by the Tory government, but Labour decimated the UK between 1997 - 2008 and destroyed the country, including selling off the gold for a ridiculous price. Every time Labour gets in, we pay the price.

@rosie_wrighting All children could have breakfast with their parents if they weren’t being crushed by rising costs. Why does the government think giving a child a cheap £1 breakfast is nutritional and helpful?

Because Keir Starmer won a historic election 18 months ago: • 2,500 children in Kettering will be lifted out of poverty • 300 children now get a free breakfast before school • 2,000 fewer people are on hospital waiting lists • £20 million secured for our most deprived communities Only with Labour in power, and by now coming together, we can deliver real change for people across the UK. That’s what the public, and my constituents in Kettering, expect.

@DavidLammy We don’t want his version of change. We don’t want Labour’s version of change. What we would love is Labour to dissolve & leave. The party has let itself down & those swimming in that murky red water are doing themselves extreme damage. You will all be remembered for a long time.

Keir Starmer won a massive mandate 18 months ago, for five years to deliver on Labour’s manifesto that we all stood on. We should let nothing distract us from our mission to change Britain and we support the Prime Minister in doing that.

@mariusfanu @MikeTappTweets Labour brought change. They’ve brought chaos, increased costs & can’t stop lying. They have literally made things worse, not better, but by definition, that’s change! Taking money off pensioners at the beginning of their term is what this party represents and they love nastiness.

I’ve received countless emails from constituents thanking my support of the PM and offering theirs, I’ve never seen anything like it. The country does not want chaos. Stability and delivery is what they voted for and that is what we are getting on with.
