@weedwizardyolo @aluraye Same thing here, whenever i popped a treant boss just went for it. But yeah, I have done it as Holy Paladin 2x, Holy Priest and now Resto Druid aswell. All by just literally AFKing doing nothing but healing Valeera as DPS and checking threat, peak content really 🙃

@aluraye Dumb question but you have a cluster of icons at the bottom, but a single row of 7 icons toward the middle. What are those icons? Your main rotation spells?

@Utah307 @Ha96247Hanrahan @FreightAlley A few years, 10 maybe. You’d be right. But a lot of small single to 3-6 asset carriers are starting to see mega carriers as the ones making the calls behind the curtains. Increase regulations that add costs to smaller carriers

@Ha96247Hanrahan @FreightAlley I would say large carriers and large brokers. However large carriers are the true market makers in the industry, they push and win legislative battles. They are the final boss.

Little secret: The large truckload carriers love a consolidated truckstop industry. When Pilot and Flying J were contemplating a merger, the DOJ reached out to the largest carriers and asked their opinion. They were generally supportive. They wanted consolidation in retail fuel. Why? Less competition for truckstop diesel means a higher retail to wholesale spread. This helps inflate the margins that large carriers make on fuel surcharges.

@haunting_bat You have to remember California environmental tape is insane! Costs explode from just environmental reviews/ permits. Sure material costs have increased, but most likely this is a “union” only job, so that increases costs 10X. Couple that with under the table kick backs

Here's a better picture of the Annenberg Wildlife Crossing. It still has to go across the utility road, over the main road (Agoura Rd.) and to the hills on the other side. All the deception used in the hit pieces to make people think it's just the part over the 101 is pathetic.

It's almost hard to believe I'd sell a truck that can get this kind of fuel economy with 42,000 lbs in the box.

@TMSuccessful Brokers are like relationships. Sometimes you find a F’d up one, and other times you find a fantastic one. Problem is only 1 out of 10 brokers are fantastic.

"And truckers want to complain about margins and fair wages". There is a SERIOUS disconnect. Brokers take on more risk? Try driving and 80K pound bullet and putting your life at risk everyday bud. You are literally complaining about paperwork.

@PlankUniverse @SecDuffy @GavinNewsom So, have you investigated WHY there are delays or did you just want to complain? If you could tell the rest of us what the delays are, then that would be cool. If not, you just sound like a whiner.

@supertrucker Went to the orientaton. The first 2 hours were indoctrination/propaganda slides. When they started doing the culty chant thing they make the employees in the stores do, I knew it wasn't for me. During a break I hailed an uber, blocked the phone #'s and got the hell out of there

@JVLNCG @bucfanjoe @maybedanielleee I think the only ones are FedEx/UPS drivers, Costco, and the famous Walmart drivers. Everything else you’re lucky if you get paid $35+ the hour.

@lalovestrump Wasn’t it also Tony that pushed for the strict emissions in the port of LA, which eventually lead to the shit show of rules that CARB now enforces in California for semi trucks?

@maybedanielleee You know what a broker asks every time? Photo of CDL, photo of truck logo with DOT and MC, photo loaded, photo unloaded. Never have I had a broker ask me for inspections, or anything pertaining to safety. They only care about the load not being stolen.

Genuinely asking... If brokers aren’t responsible for ‘vetting carriers,’ then why not cancel your subscriptions to the vetting platforms?

Fuel efficiency matters. Getting 9.3 mpg is a huge advantage over a truck getting 6.5 mpg. Same load ends up profiting very differently. If you do the math on say 100,000 miles annually, the 9.3 mpg truck saves you roughly $22,650.12 per year in fuel costs (at today’s pump price) compared to the 6.5 mpg truck. $22,650.12……………
BigCat Trucker@BigCatTrucker

While other Owner Operators are crying about fuel prices I’m laughing all the way to the bank. I love the new freightliner Cascadia. Just haul a load of Gatorade 44,339lb for 400 miles today from GA to VA up I-77 and my MPG 9.3 when I dropped. That’s the heaviest I’ve hauled in the truck since I got it and still great fuel mileage.

@_ALlamas @_toxicblonde been playing resto druid for the first time this season and didn't really have issues unless people didn't dodge the many aoes (or if the tank pulls too much on the Murder Row pull at the start and gets 2-shot bc of the phys debuff)
