The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary in Oyo State ended with a sweeping victory for Senator Sarafadeen Alli, who emerged as the party’s candidate after securing 578,143 votes in the exercise held across the state.Election Monitoring Tools
Alli defeated other contenders by a wide margin, with Senator Buhari polling 37,265 votes, while former Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, garnered 19,193 votes.
The outcome of the primary sparked celebrations among supporters of the APC chieftain, as prominent businessman and Okanlomo Oodua/Bada Olubadan, Dotun Sanusi, described the victory as a reflection of the confidence reposed in Alli’s leadership and vision for Oyo State.

Korean delivery guys will literally leave your package right outside your gate, and it can stay there for weeks without anyone touching it. There’s even an option to give them your passcode so they can keep it inside your house if you’re not around, and nothing will go missing . But the Nigerian in me will never allow me to give anyone my passcode , I’d rather they leave it outside.

Students and teachers were kidnapped in Ogbomosho. One of the teachers was beheaded on camera and the video circulated online. Other teachers and students are allegedly being tortured and abused with fire and canes, and their videos are also on the internet.
I checked the official social media pages of the Nigeria’s top political leaders.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu has not said anything about it.
Kashim Shettima is posting about a ceremony involving Yakubu Gowon.
Godswill Akpabio is posting about his re-election.
The Presidency’s official page is posting about tax laws.
And APC is still conducting primary elections nationwide.
Sometimes it genuinely feels like the lives of ordinary Nigerians no longer move the people in power.
Children and teachers are in captivity, families are in pain, people are terrified, yet the country keeps moving like nothing happened.

They started off as products of mass weddings organized by their governors and leaders; many of them are thrown to the streets to beg for food, money and clothes as early as 3years old. They grow up on the streets carrying bowl from one place to another; kidnapped and recruited into different terror groups, illegal miners and cattle rustling and trained with all kinds of extremist ideologies and carry arms to become full blown terrorists.
If we don’t attack the root cause of insecurity in Nigeria, nothing Tinubu, Atiku, Obi or anybody who is voted in as the President can do to stop insecurity in Nigeria.

Radical, who served in the Oyo State House of Assembly between 2011 and 2019 during the administration of late Senator Abiola Ajimobi, was sighted at the party secretariat in Oke Ado and later at the residence of Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja. Eyewitnesses said he was seen standing through the open roof of a vehicle, ringing a church bell and sweating profusely as he moved around town.
