conversando com protestantes e Católicos, percebi um traço de personalidade que me parece dividir os dois grupos: o Católico faz questão de saber O QUE É O CERTO A FAZER, pois para poder cumprir a ordem dada por Jesus Cristo ("Vós sereis meus amigos, se fizerdes o que eu vos mando", João 15:14-15), logicamente é necessário primeiro SABER COM CERTEZA o que Ele está comandando, pra não correr o risco extremamente sério de desobedecê-lO. Assim, a questão de saber quem está com a razão não é mera satisfação do ego, mas é uma questão de VIDA ou MORTE. já o protestante... parece não ligar muito pra questão de quem está com a razão entre os grupos protestantes (pois eles discordam sobre natureza e papel do batismo, natureza e papel da celebração da última ceia, predestinação e livre arbítrio, papel dos dons espirituais, certeza e perseverança da salvação, papel das obras na salvação, escatologia, entre outros tópicos). sempre dão alguma resposta vaga ou retórica sobre uma jornada rumo a um discernimento mais acertado que, se for real, já condenou milhões de pessoas ao Inferno nos últimos séculos -- ou então jogam tudo nas costas de um pobre "espírito santo" que há 508 anos está brincando de joão-bobo com eles. eles realmente parecem não se importar com a questão de quem está certo... contanto que a Igreja Católica esteja errada 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I don't understand how you can write a 2000 word essay on Lauren Southern's divorce & its implications without once mentioning that she married a honeypot fed who was tasked with derailing her life. That part NEEDS TO BE MENTIONED! Unless I'm getting this wrong ... is it not a pretty open secret that Southern married a fed? At the very least, Harrington ought to have addressed the rumor. To leave it out is very bad. I like Harrington and think she makes important points in the essay. Our philosophies for life need to be "road-tested." The Internet Advice-Industrial Complex is out of control: too many listicles and cheap advice and lifestyles packaged for consumption. Tradlife has become a prime victim, so much so that I don't even know what trad means anymore. And she's probably right that trad circles have their share of jerks, dudes who are eager to talk about a woman's duty to be submissive without going to the trouble of making themselves worthy of such devotion. But this argument can be built without centering it on a woman who, as far as I understand, was stung by the Regime.

I noticed a bad habit creeping in a few months ago At bedtime with our oldest, we read two stories every night, then we listen to an audio story Gradually I found myself rushing through the process, getting frustrated with how long it would take to pick out a book, talk about the pictures, etc etc And inevitably the book or audio stories would raise questions that my toddler wanted to talk through And in my brain all of this took too long. "We aren't being efficient, we're wasting time, etc etc" But then one day it struck me, "what the fck am I rushing around for? Why am I wishing away this precious time with my son? What would I do instead of hang out with him at bedtime...go downstairs and do nothing? What a joke." My humble advice to dads reading this is to stop rushing things that don't actually need rushing Do an extra story. Have that random conversation. Let them talk and let the minutes pass by together. Because the good old days are happening right now, and it's a shame to wish them away
