😱‼️Elon Musk ex-girlfriend, Amber Heard blocked him on Twitter after finding a new boyfriend on Twitter which led to their breãk up. And this got Elon Musk very ãngry. So in reiteration, Elon Musk bought Twitter, bãnnēd his ex-girlfriend from the platform and named it X to serve as a constant reminder to her of his influence😁 The brotherhood is proud of him🙌

In February 1984, a homeopathic doctor, Ernest Ugo, announced that his team at Calvary Hospital in Enugu had achieved Nigeria’s first in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) delivery, popularly known as a test-tube baby. The claim would spark the country’s hottest scientific controversy of that decade. According to a cover story by The African Guardian: ▶️ The Anambra State branch of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) was the first to dismiss the announcement as a sham. Its chairman, Professor Paul Chuke, and secretary, Dr John Oli, described Ugo’s claim as “false and unfortunate.” They argued that the Enugu team lacked the sophisticated equipment, laboratory facilities, and expertise required for the delicate IVF process. ▶️ Ugo fired back, accusing the NMA leadership of jealousy and of condemning his work without inspecting his laboratory or practice. He mocked orthodox medicine for lagging behind developments in alternative medical practice. ▶️ It took the Buhari regime nearly a year to set up a five-member panel of medical experts to investigate the claim. By then, a team at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) had also announced it was close to achieving an IVF breakthrough. ▶️ During the panel’s visit to Enugu, its chairman, Professor Adesanya Ige Grillo, reportedly asked Ugo’s wife, a Greek doctor who was part of the team, why she did not return to her country to carry out the breakthrough. A Yoruba member of the Enugu team was also asked what he was doing with an Igbo group. ▶️ After the visit, one panel member, Dr Bodunrin Oluwa, a homeopathic practitioner in private practice, resigned in protest, citing Grillo's bias and what he described as the panel’s shabby conduct in Enugu. ▶️ In June 1985, Grillo petitioned the police, accusing Ugo of possessing forged certificates and running an unregistered clinic. He claimed there was no school of homeopathy in Thessaloniki, Greece, where Ugo said he was trained. ▶️ Ugo and other members of his team were detained for 42 days. ▶️ On July 1, 1985, Grillo announced the panel’s findings: the LUTH team was legitimate, while the Enugu team, he said, was made up of frauds not certified to practise homeopathic medicine. ▶️ The Greek school later replied Nigerian authorities, confirming that Dr Ugo’s certificate was genuine. ▶️ However, the Babangida regime upheld the panel’s verdict in an announcement on May 1, 1986. The statement said Dr Ugo's claim could "dent the credibility of Nigeria within and outside the country." ▶️ During its own investigation, The African Guardian interviewed two parents who said they had struggled with infertility until they participated in Ugo’s trials and each later had a child. ▶️ The news magazine concluded that the scandal ultimately was about the unresolved tension between orthodox medical practice and alternative medicine in Nigeria.

In the early 1970s, a Nigerian student, Mudashiru Ayeni, believed he had invented a battery-powered robot office assistant and asked to personally demonstrate it to the head of state, Yakubu Gowon. He was sent to a psychiatrist instead. According to a 1971 feature story by TRUST magazine: ▶️Ayeni made eight visits to the hospital before the psychiatrist certified him to be of sound mind. ▶️The 20-year-old student then wrote to his school principal about the role young Africans were expected to play in the continent’s development. ▶️This time, he was banned from classes and forced to quit school entirely. ▶️Ayeni later reached out to Nigeria’s Federal Commissioner of Communications, Aminu Kano, who encouraged him and gave him a renewed sense of purpose. ▶️How his robot worked: at the press of a button, it told the caller whether the boss was busy, available, or away from the office. ▶️At the time the story was published, Ayeni said several businessmen had already expressed interest in his invention.

I'm not religious by any means but if I were God, it would be evident that based on the geographical arrangement of the world, I have my favourites. Africa is that favourite. There is literally no material or human resource under the sun that cannot be found here in absurd quantities. We have EVERYTHING that humanity has ever fought wars over, in such quantities that I can understand why Leopold described Africa as a 'geological scandal.' We are so absurdly stacked that even despite having the largest empire in history standing on our necks and extra ting ruthlessly for 500 years, we have still managed to be the world's 2nd most populous continent and by far the world's fastest growing population. No matter how breathlessly they extract, there are so many resources that 1.5 billion people still manage to exist without really doing so on purpose or having a plan for the future. We are still the sovereign owners of this land, but at the rate we are fucking around, not for much longer. Nature has a habit of taking away gifts that are not utilised. If despite having all that we have, plus cheap instant communication and Ethiopian Airlines that reliably puts 90% of us within 6 hours of each other, we STILL manage to come out of the 21st century losing, then we will have fully earned the loss of our homeland and our disappearance from the earth, the same way the Mayans and Aztecs disappeared. When Ibrahim Traoré says "Homeland or Death," it's not a patriotic slogan. It's a statement of ugly fact.

To those dragging VEEKEE JAMES, let me educate you. TTC means TRYING TO CONCEIVE. TTC has no year duration. It starts from any day the couple decides they want to start trying for a baby. Some people are very fertile so whether they decide or not, baby will come. Some people are very fertile but make a decision not to get pregnant and follow strict rules to avoid pregnancy while some people legit have fertility issues and go over and beyond to make babies. So whichever category you belong to, TTC still starts when you make a conscious decision to start having kids. TTC for 1 year and TTC for 10 years still fall under TTC.. Sometimes Sex becomes a Chore and trust me, you don’t wish the heart break of every negative result on your worst enemy… HAVE A NICE DAY 🫶🏽

When I heard about Anthony Joshua's accident, I quickly showed my uncle a friend's Snap story from a few hours earlier. This person had always been with Anthony wherever he goes. I had just gotten home, logged onto Instagram, and found out that friend (Healthy Mindset) was part of the convoy and lost his life. May Allah S.W.T. grant him Jannah 💔🤲🏽.

Marrying an ‘ambitious woman’ comes with great responsibility. For example I had to wake up at 4:00am, cooked, packed her bag for her confrence and even take her to the park. Meanwhile I was fixing her hair till midnight. Checking her itinerary and I realised she’s got 3 more conferences/meetings before the year runs out. I love the responsibility that comes with marriage, maybe because I love service. I will serve this woman with joy. Truly marriage is honourable to all.

Egypt: Saeed Abu Mustafa left Islam to follow Christ in 2016 after years of studying both faiths. Pressures arose, prompting Saeed to flee to Russia, where he joined the Russian Orthodox Church. In Russia, he criticized Islam and debated Muslims, which eventually landed him in prison for almost a year due to Islamic pressure. Saeed was then deported back to Egypt, where he was arrested by security services - he remains behind bars to this day. There are reports Saeed has been mistreated in detention. Pray for Saeed Abu Mustafa. Free Abu Mustafa.

Are you Igbo? Know this as an Igbo that serving someone food like this in Igbo land is disrespectful. You serve dishes like this in different plates. Most Igbo elders sees this like "serving a dog food". You can't serve your father like this in Igbo land as a proper Igbo person. This is not our culture, we don't eat like beggars.

It is only in Nigeria that a man that was attacked on his farm by a Fulani herdsman, was stabbed and fought over powered and killed his assaillant in self-defence is convicted of murder. The sad thing is that if he had been killed, he would have joined the hundred of thousands of children, men and women slaughtered by the Fulani herdsmen. This is not justice Nigerians like Sunday Jackson cannot be second class citizens in their own country. #FreeSundayJackson
