🚨 Some personal news🚨 Today is my final day on the UAB beat and as a sports writer in general. You might see a few articles from me here and there moving forward. But for the most part, I’m putting away my notebook and recorder while I take on a new chapter in my life. For as long as I can remember, writing about sports is all I’ve ever wanted to do. I’ve had the opportunity to live out that dream for the past 14 years, and it’s something I wouldn’t trade for anything. There are too many people to thank, individually. But to everyone who has played a role in my journey, I am eternally grateful. Thank you to the hundreds of people who have allowed me to tell their stories throughout the years and to the thousands of people who followed along and read them. It’s been one heck of a ride!
