@CoinbaseSupport The real question is why were their accounts deactivated? Mine was closed and it had funds on it. Didn’t even exist. I created a new one and you let me do so with the same email. That’s not how it works at real financial institutions. You can’t just close accounts and take money.

2/ We’ve seen a surge of new users and old users re-activating their accounts post-election. Along with this surge, as is typical with surges, we’ve seen a 2-3x increase in fraudulent attempts.

1/ There’s a lot of FUD/misinformation out there about Coinbase restricting accounts.

Exposing @coinbase's Unjust Treatment of On-Chain Traders My @coinbase account has been restricted for over a week, and despite giving them ample time to resolve the issue, their lack of response has been disappointing. I've since come across numerous reports from others facing similar restrictions. Given the reach of my platform, I felt it was my responsibility to highlight this egregious behavior. Since speaking out, countless users, across all portfolio sizes, have shared similar experiences, making it evident that @coinbase is treating on-chain traders like criminals and denying them basic financial freedoms.

This opens up utilizing XLM defi as well and not even needing to interact with ETH network for swaps, etc. This connects XLM to the crypto ecosystem more than you’re realizing. unlike XRP, XLM is required to interact with the network.
