@DustinCanFly Totally agreed. The movies by design had to cut a LOT of great content from the books. I'm cautiously optimistic about this series exploring that stuff. If they don't, it's kind of pointless. Little worried about the "faithfully" part. Fingers crosse! In HBO we trust.

The original movies are overall good, but starting at the third movie, the amount of cutting they had to do became massive. The adapting they did was decent at best and at points terrible (Goblet of Fire). So the point (hopefully) is to faithfully adapt the books. We'll see.
