Hato definitely starting LCB with Colwill CCB As it stands, Wes, Reece and a signing at RCB I'd like us to sign a left footed CB just to have that option. Ramon would be great, but with Como in UCL and us not, liklihood drops.

Not understanding why Chelsea fans are so determined to get rid of Fofana.

@AzpiChristiRudi @Chels1an If it were to be a 3 CB formation then I’d like it to be Hato-Colwill-RJ with the back ups being Wes?-Ramon-Diomande. Would keep Josh if had the above players and sell Wes. Loan Josh, Anselmino & Sarr.

@_ChelseaTalk_ @Chels1an I would have Reece RCB as well should Alonso use a back 3. Acheampong needs a loan. This year was an absolute waste for him. I'd send him Strasbourg or Coventry after pre-season. We still have Sarr too who has also been wasted very irritatingly.

@AzpiChristiRudi @Chels1an Yeah (depending on if it is a 3 CB), that sounds decent. Yeah I do rate Araujo too but think Diomande’s passing on top of his ceiling due to physical attributes too is a no brainer for me. Diomande as the Wes/RCB option and Ramon as the CCB option (if stones isn’t available)

@Chels1an @_ChelseaTalk_ I think Stones and Senesi as free agents would be good. Not essential, but handy backups. Senesi as a Hato LCB deputy Stones as a Colwill deputy I've never really been a Diomande fan I'll be honest. Preferred Tomas Araujo to him, but I wouldn't mind as an RCB backup

@Chels1an @AzpiChristiRudi Agreed by there be the 5th choice CB. It’s either that, a free transfer signing as mentioned or an academy player/gamble on Hato as an option (Hato would be the case in a 3 CB formation)

@Chels1an @AzpiChristiRudi See I’m all for Diomande but keeping Fofana too. My ideal is Colwill, Wes, Ramon, Diomande & one of Trev/Tosin/FT (Konate? Stones? Senesi?). That’s based on if we play 4 atb that being said

@AzpiChristiRudi Plus they want to get rid of him without any identifiable upgrade They want Lacroix who is worse in almost every measurable way. They want Van Hecke who isn’t the same profile. They want diamonde who is 22 and untested in a bigger league He’s got a stinky attitude but that’s it

Really don’t like how people are going “like for like” and assuming he’s going to instantly mirror his Leverkusen side…

@ConnorHolden00 Would love him as the aggressor and Ramon as the ball player. Yes they might not be “experienced” but they’re game changers and I think they’ll be superstars

Xabi Alonso joining, I’d be taking a look once again at one of my old school favourites for those who have been following me for a while… Ousmane Diomande, right-footed, the physicality to dominate duels and play as the RCB in a four or a five, but also the experience and ball playing ability playing as the CCB in a back five Would help to cover BOTH CB requirements of the RCB aggressor role and Colwill’s more quarterback role, makes too much sense

Yes I would’ve preferred Cesc but I’d be surprised if we didn’t try and talk to him and either got turned down or he just wasn’t available (didn’t wanna leave Como yet). Don’t like how the reports came out hours after a cup final loss (typical BlueCo), but happy we got him

Happy with Alonso. Do still have some reservations just because how early in his managerial career it is but it’s positive : Biggest pedigree (both playing and managing) from anyone we’ve hired under BlueCo Has the authority in dressing room Exciting and promising tactician

@objective_cfc One of them where the “challenge” isn’t much of a foul but he also gets no where near the ball and stops Joao from getting past him. Tough either way. The one on Hato is stonewall imo - doesn’t get the ball, stops Hato from going past and clearly drips the back right foot/heel

Where you’re running that fast AT the player and miss the ball and smash into him it’s a pen imo

Controversial decisions, inconsistent play, not enough quality in both boxes. Sums our season up. That Hato one defo looks likes it could’ve been given looking back tho
