@British_Airways @jinty_meikle BA are nasty, giving away my Club seat (downgrade to Economy on my one and only holiday that year) to a cruise passenger who’d missed an earlier flight! They separated me and my partner, no apologies, no compensation. They said you don’t always get the seat you paid for! Shocking

@jinty_meikle Hi there. We do not move seats of customers to accommodate requests for other passengers just to be able to sit together. There could've been a reason such as medical as to why your seat was moved. I'm sorry you didn't get the seats you were expecting. PhilGW

Dear @British_Airways, thanks for ruining the end of a lovely weekend away due to your inability to honour the seat I booked and paid for, instead giving it to someone else so he didn't have to sit apart from his Mrs for a whole hour and 20 minutes.

@CarlMcculloch79 @British_Airways @emirates @qatarairways BA have gone downhill since Covid. I avoid flying BA as much as I can nowadays, after being a frequent flyer previously. No loyalty. I was downgraded to Economy from Club (I PAID for a Club seat), no reason given other than flight was overbooked. No compensation even. Disgusting.

Been Silver with @British_Airways for years but these new tier points means I’ll be strictly @emirates or @qatarairways from April this year. Good BA but you’re shafting your loyal customers now.

@British_Airways Is it not possible to re-route to Southampton and Bournemouth Airports, closer to London, that can both take big planes? Southampton just extended their runway last year.

@Airport_FRA I will email. I complained to a manager on duty but he said I could have asked to be taken to a cubicle. I had asked the female doing the check to stop, as it was going on for too long, and too intimate, but she would not stop and said she had to check me. It was unacceptable.

@Airport_FRA I have never, in my whole life of frequent flying, been subject to such an intimate and prolonged body search going through Security- with their hands between my legs front and back (too close), looking down my trousers, and more! All in front of other passengers.

@Rupechri Laziness! I can’t bear to hear fith for FIFTH, sickth for SIXTH, etc. Corrected a singer recently who had no idea the word she was supposed to sing was STRENGTH not strenth 🤦🏻‍♀️ That’s another thing - who’s teaching singers to sing in English these days?!

Hi everyone, I’m afraid I bear some sad news. Most of you will know Dave has been fighting cancer for the past couple of years. Last night, on 28th February 2024, with Lili, Dave’s wife, his family, close friend David and myself by his side, he passed away peacefully at home. All who knew Dave are devastated at his passing. His beloved wife brought him such happiness as did her children, Iza and Sergiu who Dave loved like his own. Personally, I am not sure I can put into words on how I feel at the moment. My best friend is on a journey that for now, I can’t follow. I will miss him every day and the bond and friendship we shared over half a lifetime. I wish you god’s speed brother; you are and will remain a beacon in this world. See you on the other side. Love ya. I know Dave and his family would want me to thank all of you who sent messages of support in recent times. It meant the world to him, his family and all The Hairy Bikers team. I am sending you all much love and gratitude for those simple acts of kindness, generosity and spirit. We are eternally grateful for them. May I ask you all for one further kindness and allow Lili, his wife, his family, close friends and I some time and some peace to process our huge loss. I am sure I will see you all soon. Love Si x
