Athletes‼️‼️ Learning how to navigate being a college athlete straight out of high school can be a lot. More workouts, harder courses, tutoring, team meetings, film, recovery appointments, team appearances, team bonding, travel days, game days, it’s a major adjustment, and I truly feel for freshmen. But the best advice I can give is: give yourself grace while also giving your best effort every day. Stay organized, ask for help when you need it, build good habits early, and remember that your identity is bigger than your sport. Growth takes time, and nobody has it all figured out their first year. Keep showing up, stay coachable, and trust that confidence comes with consistency.

I will always use my platform to point back to Him. Everything I’ve been given, every opportunity, every connection, it all leads back to grace. My goal is to reflect His light in every space I step into and use my voice to uplift, encourage, and remind others of His goodness.🤍

FEMALE ATHLETES‼️‼️ Be proud of who you are and the space you take up in sports. There will be people who underestimate you, overlook your work, or question what you bring to the table, but keep showing up anyway. Keep working, keep leading, keep growing, and keep proving to yourself that you belong here. Your impact goes far beyond the game, and the way you carry yourself can inspire the next generation of girls watching you. Keep going, sports needs strong women like you.❤️

Athletes‼️‼️ I know it’s easier said than done, but stop worrying about everyone else. Someone else’s interest, someone else’s offers, someone else’s journey, none of that should distract you from your own path. Your distractions are stopping you from putting in the work you need to become better. Stay focused on YOU, what YOU need to improve, and the work YOU need to put in. Comparison steals confidence. Lock in, trust your process, and keep growing!

Athletes‼️‼️Find your “why.” Know your “why.” There has to be something deeper driving you than talent, hype, rankings, or recognition. Those things fade. Your “why” is what keeps you disciplined when motivation is gone. On the hard days, when you’re tired, injured, overlooked, doubting yourself, or not seeing immediate results, your “why” is what keeps you showing up. Whatever your reason is, hold onto it. Never forget why you started. That purpose has to be bigger than the temporary moments.
