Proud owner of a Grifter by @XCOPYART I wanted to pick up Xcopy art for a very long time, but I kept holding off because I knew what I really wanted is a Grifter for my long term collection. I could've never imagined I would see a day where I could own this iconic piece. So very happy today and proud to be a collector of Xcopy art.

In the world of traditional art, I’d guess there are roughly 50,000 collectors who seriously put money to work — the real “hardcore” crowd. In NFTs, I’d say the number of people operating at that same level is more like 500 at most. To me, Grifters fits almost perfectly to the scale of that “500-strong hardcore collector community.” The definition of “hardcore,” and those headcounts, are nothing more than my own gut feeling — but I still think this order-of-magnitude gap is exactly where the interesting tension and untapped potential of NFTs lives.
