Lactate levels CFS - I’m in a severe crash just from being lifted on a stretcher for 30 seconds from my bedroom to another bedroom, and this is the result. I think 6.9 is quite abnormal from just from being lifted on a stretcher and moving around a little in bed 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

ME/CFS must have some really interesting disease mechanisms. People starting with just ME/CFS spontaneously develop diseases like POTS and MCAS at a much higher rate. Not to mention how PEM can make new symptoms appear and permanently worsen the illness.

@chydorina My MCAS specialist won’t prescribe it for any of his patients due to the potential bad side effects of depression etc

We agree with this. Chronic fatigue syndrome describes a group of symptoms, not the actual illness. Moreover, CFS has been employed to minimise the severity of myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME). It has, and still is, used by those who seek to harm #pwME #MEAwarenessWeek #ExposeMENow

@kirstler31 It’s helped my pots. even though it says you shouldn’t lay down due to the effect it could have on blood pressure I have been fine laying down/sleeping with it. Just depends on the person i suppose

Has anyone bed-bound with severe #MECFS tried midodrine? What was your experience? I am due to start basically last week lol and feeling very nervous 😊 Ps. I know I need to try and prop myself up. Also feeling nervous to do that all day. TIA!
