The ECB is working on new Euro banknotes.
Unfortunately, there appears to be a complete lack of MSX computers in the currently proposed designs.
This is now fixed. Vote for #MSX Euro banknotes!

‼️ The European Commission has allowed a citizens' initiative demanding EU law keep digital ID and age verification voluntary, privacy-preserving and non-discriminatory for accessing online services.
The initiative called 'Stop Killing The Internet: No Digital ID & No Age Verification' now needs 1 million signatures across at least 7 member states within 12 months. Once the target is hit, Brussels must formally answer, right as it rolls out the EU Digital Identity Wallet and pilots its age-verification app.

‼️ LG monitors are silently installing adware on computers through an LG app because Windows allows to automatically fetch apps for connected devices with full system access.
Once an LG monitor is connected to a Windows PC, it triggers Windows Update to fetch the LG Monitor App Installer, an app whose store listing grants access to "All system resources," with no consent screen and McAfee trial ads following shortly after.
Microsoft's role deserves scrutiny too. The Windows feature was built for drivers and companion utilities, not for ad software with full-resource permissions.
The same behavior was found by YouTuber Gamers Nexus on monitors up to three years old, including ones already in use at its own office. LG has not publicly responded, and the first consent screen you ever see is the ad.

YouTube has just taken down the political discussion clip about the EU's Chat Control, and the video is no longer viewable in the EU.
This has been confirmed by several parties. The video is still available outside the EU.
@puheenaihefi podcast is a Finnish current affairs program with 60k subscribers. In this episode, Peter Sund, CEO of the Finnish Information Security Cluster (Kyberala ry) offered pointed criticism of the EU's new Chat Control directive, which was enacted under questionable circumstances.
Because the media is in Finnish, it is highly likely the censorship request came from a Finnish government official or a related party.
This makes it troublesome.
Because the Finnish constitution §12 guarantees freedom of expression.
Preventing political publications is a criminal offence: Abuse of Official Position, punishable by a fine or imprisonment for up to two years.

Visiting the @Arcade_Museum is as close as I’ll ever get to revisiting arcades as they were when I was growing up.
Aisles of games.
A mix of attract sounds, games in progress, & faint music over the speakers.
It’s always a special place to me.

🚨 EVERY EUROPEAN NEEDS TO KNOW THIS:
The European Union is turning into an anti-democratic surveillance apparatus.
In March, the European Parliament REJECTED the extension of “Chat Control.”
So what did Brussels do?
While everybody is distracted from the World Cup, they furtively brought it back through a rarely used procedure and are trying again.
The goal is to allow private communications to be scanned under a derogation from normal ePrivacy protections.
They’ll have access to your private messages and your photos. And, as always, mass surveillance is being sold to you under the banner of “safety.”
The EU bureaucrats do not trust you.
They urgently want the infrastructure to surveil you.
And when its own Parliament votes the wrong way, the bureaucratic and anti-democratic machine simply finds another procedure and tries again.
The European Union is not protecting democracy.
It is becoming its enemy. And almost all CONSERVATIVES members of the parliament voted in favor of this Orwellian plan.
And now imagine a combination of governmental surveillance AND Palantir. SCARY!!!!
SHARE THIS. Europeans deserve to know what Brussels is doing to their privacy.

BREAKING:
The EU is planning to require a passport to access the internet.
And they want to block VPNs to enforce it.
"The new age verification system cannot be bypassed via VPN."
Read that again.
A digital passport. For the internet.
Enforced by blocking the tools that protect your privacy.
This is what the trajectory looks like.
- Cash banned above €10,000.
- Bitcoin requires ID above €1,000.
- Privacy coins banned.
- MiCA eliminating 90% of crypto firms.
And now internet access tied to your identity.
With VPN circumvention specifically blocked.
Every layer of digital privacy.
Being dismantled one regulation at a time.
While America debates zero capital gains on Bitcoin.
Europe is building a system where every click, every transaction, every website visit.
Is tied to your passport.
This is not consumer protection.
This is digital authoritarianism.
And they're not hiding it anymore.
