@xPetu I would be extremely interested in this role! I have not yet had the opportunity to gain strong experience with this tech stack as most of my education focused around Backend, but I do feel confident in my ability to learn!

@CoachlessGG Yes! Also on Ashe. She has built in Attack speed with her Q, so the extra damage when spacing properly in lane phase is so much free value!

In my 1st year physics self study, I finished mechanics, waves, and thermodynamics. I started electromagnetism and it's a big jump in difficulty. I'll get through it but def moving much slower to make sure I understand. Multiple people said it was their favorite subject though!

Just wrapped up day 2 of attending @NVIDIAGTC 2026 virtually and had the pleasure of learning about topics such as the US DOE (@ENERGY)'s Genesis Mission for accelerating scientific discovery through global innovation with AI, Agentic Physical AI with digital twins using @nvidiaomniverse, Agentic AI in Media and Music with @Adobe and @UMG, how @planet labs is Accelerating their Geospatial Workflows for real-time satellite imagery of the entire Earth, and how gaming companies such as @DecartAI, @Krafton_inc, @CAGames, and @riotgames are developing and using Agentic AI models to chart a new course for the next decade of gaming. As someone having graduated and already looking forward to stepping foot into the software industry, these talks and panels were greatly inspiring fuel to my continuing entry-level career search.

Sounds like chat transgressions are heavily correlated to bad play, but not necessarily the cause. To me, it makes more logical sense that bad play would be the causal factor of poor communication in chat. More testing: 1. What if players perform the same without chatting at all? 2. How likely are people to transgress with and without poor play beforehand? Do they perform better when they have no reason to type?

asked the analytics team to look into the most basic version of this, which is "if only one team had 1+ chat transgressions in a game, which team won?" for all ranked games in 2025, you had a 22% winrate if your team had a chat transgression and their team didn't.
Drew Levin@drewlevin

A thought I had this morning: I encounter a decent amount of people trying to justify their negative chat behavior by saying that Riot doesn't sufficiently penalize soft inting, with the implication that their own use of chat is their only real recourse to getting inted.

@drewlevin Because players who FF more often tend to lose more games on average, their mmr would reflect the losses as well. Thus, players who FF more are already bogging down the lower end of the ladder and have been since the last full reset (if there has ever been one?)... Please reset.

ok here’s the real spicy poll. if we accounted for FF preferences in making teams but in SR RANKED, this would be:

question I am curious about (follow-up poll in the reply is even spicier): if we matchmade games of league NORMS where - keeping skill and role preferences as they are - we tried to put people who share FF preferences on the same team, that would be:

A controversial website that pays players to intentionally throw ranked matches is facing backlash from gaming communities. The platform lets frustrated users post bounties targeting alleged griefers and trolls in six popular competitive titles, including Overwatch 2, Marvel Rivals, League of Legends, Valorant, and others. Users create free bounties with cash rewards. Bounty hunters deliberately queue into the target's ranked games and sabotage the match. The website went offline after reports of a security breach that allegedly exposed the email addresses of people who had posted bounties.

you don't come back from a league loss streak by playing safe you come back by playing like you're already dead i learned this the hard way went through some shit recently. took a week off. came back and played like a scared little bitch hugging tower. giving up cs. not contesting anything. playing to "not lose" instead of playing to win guess what happened lost 6 in a row because playing safe when you're behind doesn't work in league and it doesn't work in life playing safe is just LOSING SLOWLY the guy who's 0/2 and still looking for an all in? he might die again. but he also might turn the whole game off one play the guy who's 0/2 and sitting under tower praying for a gank? he's going to be 0/2 with a 30 cs deficit and zero impact same thing applies to everything you lost your job and you're "taking it slow"? you're falling behind every single day you hesitate you went through a breakup and you're "giving yourself time"? time doesn't heal shit. ACTION heals. you dropped 3 divisions and you're "playing for fun"? that's cope and you know it the comeback doesn't start when you feel ready it starts when you stop respecting the deficit down in gold? force a fight down in life? force a change down in everything? GOOD because the most violent comebacks don't come from patience they come from someone who said fuck it and went all in with nothing left stop playing safe you're already behind the only way out is through VIOLENCE Study the Saskio way

Hot take: “Lose faster” culture is killing competitive integrity. Every League game has a strong side and a weak side. Someone wins. Someone loses. That’s the dopamine loop. The second you reduce your own win probability on purpose, you’re not optimizing time. You’re sabotaging the game. You self-sabotage to bring your teammates down with you. Show me another competitive environment where quitting early is normalized. No other competitive game accepts this. No sport tolerates it. If you queued up to play less… why did you queue at all?
Pink Ward@Pinkwardlol

Because a lost game isn’t lost till it’s over. That 1-14 player is still trying, but when you turn your brain off and dedicate the rest of the game to ffing you become the real inter. Self fulfilling prophecy.

@justinskycak 1, 2, and 3 are key for the classroom. Repetition cements afterward. Sadly, many classes expect students to skip from 1 to 4 due to poor planning, too many topics to cover, and requirements for courses outside their majors, making it hard to spread topics and delve even deeper.

@_GrayFrog @Pirat_Nation Not dead. But Stormgate shows that current product (SC1 & 2) is still fun and playable that there is no market for 3rd one unless its truly truly special. Both pros and cons of a computer game is replaybility. Thats why Blizzard cannabalize Overwatch 1 to sell OW2.

Though I wish there were some different champions added to 2XKO, the game is still very good. I would play it over Street Fighter or Tekken any day. Sad to see so many devs getting reassigned and layed off today. Guilty Gear - Strive is still best on the current market though.

@drewlevin Autofill protection doesn't feel like the correct consolation for getting inted/griefed in soloqueue. Especially in low-elo.
