yes and no. i’m not making a moral equivalency but it’s pretty clear that our involvement has been a net harm to us, nobody seems to care about a result that’s in our interest or “promoting democratic values” or being responsive to human rights concerns so maybe we should treat it more like Armenia v Azerbaijan which are also not morally equivalent but not a top national
priority.

I have a bold idea. Rather than litigate the veracity of mutual mass rape claims in a 2000 year old religious war btwn authoritarian regimes maybe we should offer humanitarian aid where needed & focus on our own interests. You might call it a pivot to Asia or even “americans 1st”

We're reinstating the limited juvenile curfew in Washington, DC.
Effective tonight, all youth under 18 are subject to an 11PM curfew—which will extend through 5/1.

There's no good civic argument for the electoral college. It was arguably necessary to ensure the ratification of the Constitution, but it's an anti-democratic device that gives some American citizens far more voting power than others, based purely on where they live.
