Opened Instagram and everyone is panicking that the gov is deaf, that our country is doomed, that everyone in the gov is illiterate, that democracy is dead, that lives have no value, that everything is going south... Then opened Livemint newspaper. My conclusion? Instagram is the new Arundhati Roy opinion column. Meanwhile, all news articles with numbers in them signal reality. We're doing just fine, in fact we're rocking it. Very good thing that the gov is deaf to roadside noise, but listening to people in boardrooms, agri-fields, factories, and tech parks. Real students are creating companies like Ather and Skyroot, not AI-dependent cockroach parties.

If you're so much into science and technology and think the BJP needs to be given the belt treatment for fucking up so badly, then please focus on NavIC's death (India's navigation system) than those wannabe cockroaches. Modi gov has very systematically killed off a very critical project amid lack of funding, zero vision, and super misplaced priorities. ISRO is in tatters right now while the West is at least 75 years ahead in rocketry minimum, and it has incredible scale + backing from the private sector. PSLV is a dead end. At the same time, Maharashtra's Devendra Fadanvis is waiving off ₹48,000 crore worth of electricity dues, while spending even more annually on Ladli Behnas. For a fraction of that sum we can develop our own jet engines. If anyone is sitting on a Hunger Strike for such issues, I'm all in. But if you're expecting me to spare a thought for a cockroach inventor whose claim to fame is turning a Chetak scooter into a wheat mill, then boss sorry, ye pura desh chunotiyon se nahi, chutiyon se bhara hai. Everyone wants to pretend they can hold the gov accountable lmao by posting Insta stories.

Sonam Wangchuk has been removed from the protest site, and I think it is a good thing. This protest has been irrationally designed, has no clear goal, and the demands are not rational. NEET paper leak was an issue, but the successful conduction of re-NEET is actually a true accountability by the government. His condition has worsened, and this stubbornness could have led to his death also. Delhi Police has taken a right decision. The protest was slowly turning into a kind of blackmail. So now the Prime Minister is expected to sack the Education Minister because a pressure campaign demands it? The NEET paper leak was investigated, the racketeers were arrested, and systemic loopholes were plugged. Accountability was pursued. That should have been the logical conclusion. It is indeed adding value to our discussions about downslide of our media in India. You have also to understand that in this vast continent like country, diversity of languages means media is not limited to English. The regional language media is more important. It is these people who need to be made aware. Media literacy should spread far and wide through regional language media content. Same thing about Social Media in this country. How many people know, read and write English in their day-to-day life. Unless media discourse about declining media standards in the country reaches far and wide in regional newspapers and TV channels don't expect real change @HelleLyngSvends
