China's rocket recovery method uses technology from our aircraft carrier; Fujian's electromagnetic arresting system.
This net recovery method allows the rocket to be lighter, no need for landing legs. The gentle method of recovery means the boosters only needs 72 hours to be ready for the next launch. Compared to SpaceX Falcon 9 which need at least 9 days to weeks.
All these are incredible cost and time saving measures that will allow China to build its constellation of satellites in low Earth orbit.

Recovery method: First stage performed a controlled descent and was captured using a "wire" catch system on a specialized floating recovery platform named Linghangzhe (Enlish "Pathfinder") in the South China Sea.
