@FlashFireFist_ @wolfyvelvet Yeah. I think console gens being less than 10 years was fine when we would get tons of games for each generation. However in 2026 development cycles for triple A games are like 3-6 years long (if not longer) so a single generation should definitely go on for longer than 10 years.

@wolfyvelvet Yeah I’ve been saying wait until 2030. Console gens don’t need to be 6-7 years. They should only drop a new console when it’s needed. That’s why we have mid-gen refreshed like the PS5 Pro.
