Fury is too long and Orion is too short. The perfect ride would have been somewhere in the middle.
Obviously I'm being ultra knitpicky, but one comes in ultra hot and the other crawling to the finish.
Both are amazing as is, just talking in a 'perfect world'.

New job I’m starting has a Rita’s Ice & Custard food truck on site most days.
I’m gonna request they get the Kings Island blue ice cream flavor everyday until I get written up for annoying them so much.

So my entire late August trip has to replanned bc after checking the 2026 calendars, every East Coast/Midwest park in the Six Flags chain besides Cedar Point, Canada’s Wonderland & Darien Lake are going to weekend only ops after only the 2nd week of August.
Even major parks like Kings Island, Six Flags Great America & Kings Dominion are shutting down weekday ops that early this year. All of them usually have daily ops through the first week of September.

I went last December and had a bad time. 0 desire to return. Overrated rides.
Huge crowds even when it's light.
Line jumpers being rewarded.
Being forced to sit behind poncho wearers on the log flume, ruining my new waterproof shoes.

This means it's almost a foregone conclusion that Darien Lake and Frontier City will be added to the Enchanted Parks umbrella of parks at the end of the current operating agreements with Six Flags.
