@xmaggiepiazzax I have found that most of my friends are from sports or coasters. The world has changed in the last 10 years.

I’ll never understand why I don’t have any real friends. I don’t know what I ever did to people to make nobody stick around, check in on me, or choose me the way I choose them.

@DrewTheIntern It's called getting older. This noticably started for me around 10 yrs. Driving alone is the only true peace and quiet we typically get, so you've subconsciously made the decision to use that time to your advantage and sort thru shit in your head, opposed to find a distraction.

I find myself more and more sitting in silence when driving alone. No idea what that means but I get a lot of thinking done.

"Buying lunch out every day was never affordable" Bitch just 15 years ago $5 worth of fast food could feed you for an entire workweek. That's less than 1 hour of minimum wage pay by the way! Boomers are desperate for us to forget that at one point fast food was price competitive with cooking at home. In fact this strat right here likely came in under the per-meal cost of anything you could make at home for the same amount of calories and fillingness. Remember, these used to be bigger, they have shrinkflated in addition to becoming more expensive.
