Corn Bunting populations are doing well on my patch; increasing from top numbers at 6 individuals when I first started patching there, to 12 in recent years. I’ve never seen numbers as high as that though, amazing stuff!

32 birds on the pylon wires over Badger. Nearly all seem to be Corn Bunting singing away. Have you seen those kind of numbers? @Tomonabike46

Great few days spent in North Norfolk last week. Managed four lifers; Dusky Warbler @holmebirdobs , Snow Bunting @RSPBTitchwell , Lesser Yellowlegs @NWTCleyCentre and Twite at Thornham Harbour. Thanks for all the recommendations @DavidWalsh22! Can’t wait to come back!

Penultimate farmland survey of the year on @GreenAcres_Farm . 21 species total including 124 Linnets, 38 Goldfinches, 3 Stonechats and a Kestrel being some of the highlights. @BTO_Shropshire

My thoughts on #LockdownBirding in the latest @ShropsWildlife magazine, including the way that adding records to @BirdTrack gave structure, purpose and a sense of connection when many of us were mourning those aspects of our normal lives.

Grey Wagtails have been accumulating across the past few weeks at Shifnal Sewage Works. Including this coloured ringed individual “VZ”- ringed at the same location as a juvenile on the 12/09/2018. Spotted on the 31/08/2020. Keep your eyes peeled for the @RingersWm birds!
