Harden is still a free agent and there were reports in the past that he wanted to come back to Houston.
The most obvious thing for the Rockets to do would be to sign Harden and trade Fred VanVleet.
The Rockets have a much better chance at winning a championship with Harden running the point than with Fred VanVleet.
